Hey, hey, hey.

This Thread doesn't have anything to do with my personal life. I just wanted to see what people thought about this issue. Marriage is definitely not on the cards for me any time soon.

Do you find me peculiar? Would you prefer it if I was married but depressed? I'm young, with no children so get off my back (lol). I already explained why I asked this question in the original post. There's more to black mens village then dissing women. Some times its interesting to deal with these types of topics.

okay calm down..... was just playin wit cha, I'm in a cheeky cheerful mood today. My moto in life is 'to each his/her own', I know quite a few men that would rather stay single then to ever get hitched, and an increasing number of women feel the same way to.

Marriage does scare me, but I would scroll down the aisle if it felt right.

Never said I didn't wanna get married. I just wanna know that I've made the right choice when i do go down that road. I don't wanna have to get divorced because my beautiful wife turned into a monster.

I'm not really talking about looks but attitude. I'd prefer a wife who's ready to grow old gracefully and not trying to be hip with the teenagers. Me, I don't mind getting old. When I see an old couple together and the bond they have it touches my heart.

Anyway, let me stop before I start getting too in touch with my feminine side. (lol)

roflmao..... embrace your fem side Mr E. it's not a bad thing..... I understand what you mean... I suppose women try to keep looking young so that their men will not feel the need to run off with a younger woman... but I am sure if she (the woman) understood that her husband would embrace her more as she matures she would allow herself to age naturally.

I believe in the strength and bond of the black family unit, so when I see a black family out together, like I did at Toy R US on Saturday, that touched my heart... <------------ tears of joy
