Was just on facebook and thought I'd search for an old school friend (again). Have known her since primary school, we were like soul mates, probably the closest to a serious relationship I've ever been, known her since I was 3 up until secondary when she left the country half way through. Kinda turned cold after that, girl kept me going through tough times and I took her for granted.

Anyway, enough soppy business.

Just found her page on facebook. Didn't think she'd be around but she just replied and now its all weird don't want to be all, ''remember when'' but its awkward, we're so close and so much has happened since we've been away it makes catching up difficult then again its not as though I could forget the girl, thats impossible.

What do you do with an old flame like that? Man I'm gonna mess this up.

Ok, thought she didn't write back, felt like some sado talking to a girl I've known since I was three but she did and shes invited me to a ''slumber party'' (wtf?) on my birthday and now I feel awkward because she could be some sado inviting me to a slumber party on my birthday which is tomorrow. .lol. Always the hostess that girl.

My stripper friend has dissapeared, tried to call her to invite her out on my birthday but shes not answering her phone cause shes still too ghetto and I was being too nice to her treating her like a woman and not someone I need to hold my drugs for me on road.

Most people say don't go out with old flames reasoning that if something didn't work the first time then it won't the second. If she bugged you for example and got on your last nerve then just because you're single now and want piece you're blinding yourself to the annoying things that will come back and annoy you again as you go on. Therefore most people say it's a waste of time.

I say don't make up rules for yourself like that. Given sufficient time people change and depending on how long ago it was and what happened in the interim people can change quite a bit or grow. Feel it out politely and see how it goes.
