@VK, I get your point and am in no way sceaming about anything. If melanin gives Blacks superiority in all things....fine. However, I dont really know what happened in this case though......You see, things dont always hold up in REALITY.
Potential to be great isn't always actualised.............chances are, there are a whole lots of people with much less melanin content than this man, but have more physical, spiritual and mental prowess.
Thats just a wild guess......lol

@Chi,
We will have to disagree. I think we are confusing Masculinity with smartness. One could be masculine and not very smart or make very bad choices as is the case with Flavor Flav. But nevertheless, Flavor looks more like the Original Man (Black Folks) than your average white boy who in most cases just look weak. That is my opinion and I am sticking with it.

I think you are confusing the whole point here. No one is talking about smashing your skull to prove that they are manly. We are talking here of the built of Black Man which makes them look more manly than many folks. Look my Friend, if William Hung epitomizes what a man is suppose to be, then good for you. Black Folks and Black Man in particular are more manly than the rest of human race. Now we do have a good number of sissy looking Black Man and that has more to do or mainly due to their ACTIONS than their looks.
I assume this is it

does this apply to black women? as we are "black folk". Are we more manly in general?
if so then we have come full circle, blackness = masculinity can only mean lightness= feminity so when flipped for women, we end up on the same old page.
Light is right (for women), isn't that what we are striving to reject.
I can see no good coming of all this catogorising

Well, television was introduced to this place and the girls there starting watching Beverley Hills 90210 and in less than a few months, some of the girls were being diagnosed with eating disorders, which had never been an issue there before
Its not a bad thing being slim is healthy and they probably have a much more healthier lifestyle lets not forget that not all YT mans way of life is absurd you just have to have the right balance...but i understand where you coming from...
I'm not talking about being slim. I'm talking about them developing anorexia, which can lead to death, problems with mensturation and a whole host of other problems. These women were not overweight to begin with. And I'm not claiming that everything about the white man's way of life is absurd, but when it's causing self-image problems with you, then you need to rethink their ways.

Melanin does not make black people superior physically, spiritually, or mentally. Melanin has nothing to do with the brain. Sadly, thats just something that was made up by blacks to make other blacks feel good about themselves to tell you the truth.

Actually, you both are wrong. There is no such thing as melanin in the first place. The dark substance people keep refering to either in the skin or brain is actually just carbon; nothing more and nothing less. The reason people think "melanin" makes Africano people superior is because of an intrinsic chemical/physical property of the elements.
The only thing that creates electricity is the friction of the two elements carbon and copper. Your entire nervous system, including the cells in your brain are made of copper. The brain (or the pineal gland) produces the carbon which generates the electric pulses that stimulate your thinking, reason, and all motor function of the body by sending electric pulses throughout the human body's neural network.
Now here is where some African folks have run off into a bit. Empirical tests have proven that so called "White" Indo-Europeans produce this carbonic substance in the brain at about 10% that of African people, thereby also effecting the color of their eyes, skin, and hair. Some have taken this further and suggested that this accounts for the increased aggression in "white" Indo-Europeans given their physical inability to be more "receptive" to the energy in the Universe given their carbonic deficiency.
This carbonic deficiency was merely one of their adaptations to the last Ice Age, just as all mammals have mutated/evolved/adapted at least somewhat to their environments. Now, whether or not it makes African people "superior", I find rather laughable. However, this is a real and quantifiable difference I am sure accounts for their racially-imbued paranoid psychopathic (and Narcissistic) behavior.

Are you sure about that scientific explanation Shemsi? I'd be really interested to see your sources.
Because from what I've learnt melanin does exist and is a pigmentation compound found in hair, skin etc etc in varying amounts in different people. A similiar substance melatonin is found in the brain - both are derivatives of trytophan i think. Also in some parts of the brain (substantia nigra and other areas with dopaminergic activity) there is some kind of pigmentation (also probably melanin - not sure of the details - will have to do some research), but i don't think that this pigmentation is race specific.
Carbon is the basic building block of life - almost every tissue, cell, organ, compound in the human body is a carbon based molecule (including melanin) so I'm not sure that:
"The dark substance people keep refering to either in the skin or brain is actually just carbon"
is correct.
And nervous system electrical impulses are generated by the influx and movement of sodium and potassium ions from what I've heard.
I'm not trying to show you up but I think a lot of false information travels around our community endorsed as fact - and its important to check sources.
I also don't agree that melanin confers superiority on our race. The idea that the darker you are the more manly you are, is just further 'colourism' - does nothing for our progression and just leads to further infighting.

For Africa to me... is more than a glamorous fact. It is a historical truth. No man can know where he is going unless he knows exactly where he has been and exactly how he arrived at his present place.
