barbershops in the UK.....or in Africa?

I think many here have seen the film Barbershop with Ice Cube and its sequel...

most barbershops over here are pretty much like the film depicted....

in what ways would you say barbershops are different in united kingdom or in the parts of Africa where y'all are from?

yes all of that. people hanging out there all day who ain't getting a cut, nuff stupid chat about any and everything. Dunno what BP means about no chicks because many of the barbershops I used to go to were attached to a salon or at least would have a few women doing plaiting/braiding of dudes hair so...
