Default top african universities - 04-05-08, 09:55 PM

Hi all, been ages.

I want to leave the UK by the end of this year and you might be in a position to help.

I want to study a degree in History (Specialising/focusing on African studies).

I can't speak French so some Uni's would be out of the question, I can only attend a uni where the curriculum is taught in English but I'm struggling to find any uni in Africa that has a kind of Afrocentric History degree.

I also want the university to be recognised and reputable and to have facilities for research in the area of History and Culture.

Please help me by submitting a list of all such varsities and the study program that they have.

PLEASE PLEASE.... I was considering the SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) here but they'd charge me about £10500 fees per year as an international student and I can't afford it, also was considering Michigan State Univesities centre for African studies but the cash is an issue as well. I know if I work my shifts like crazy I can raise £12000 in the next 6 months and that'd be enough to cover my fees for a four or three year degree in Africa.

PLEASE HELP ME GO BACK TO AFRICA... I knew that what Garvey said was true but its just hit me now after 1 and a half years in the UK. I'm from Zimbabwe originally. I don't mind where the uni will be located whether East, West, North or South Africa it doesn't affect me.
