That third picture..nice shape,cept for the fact that she looks exactly like Chris Rock!

@ Shemsi....maybe some women use it as an excuse, but myself I'm actually very slim.

I happened to watch that competition (face of Africa) and they are actually also quite tall, above average height, they all looked very young to me, rather than fully grown women. Thats just my opinion.
Not every woman is naturally slim, IMO. The same way you have some slim men, and others who are not so slim.

Besides these girls (1st picture)are actually models.

I wont lie i use to be over weight years ago, but then i had a rude Awakening and man i hit the gym for 6 months, turned the table around for my health and self-esteem. Now I'm more knowledgeable about what foods to eat and how important it is to have a balanced Diet. Some folks just need a rude Awakening to realise that their physical bodies where not designed to carry all that extra weight. But yeah i guess some people will exhaust all the excuses first before they lift a finger.

This is the main picture that jumped out at me as disproportionate, although this is her best picture from the hips up.


She looks good in the other photos (proportion-wise).
I agree with the ladies. She works out (I am a thicker woman who is naturally muscular plus I do resistance exercises so I recognize this look in her) AND her top half (abs, waist-line, arms) kills mine; whatever is left is genetics. The ONLY way she could combat the way her body distributes her fat is to have those fat cells permanently taken out a la liposuction for example.

Obviously she's happy and confident with it, there are MAAANNNY men who love it, and she's getting work so I'm glad for her.

Her legs are disproportionate to her height although I partially agree with Mellisa's comment on western vs African standards, many of us are used to the tall slim type as western women wear high heels promoting the slim legged type, not something thats as common in many of our home countries perhaps although it tough to say considering diversity and all.... perhaps because the tall slim type is more of an east african trait whereas many of us diasporans are west african???

Nokias ''face of Africa'' can't be included in any example, seen them turn away some good looking dark skinned sistas for no good reason, personally like dark skinned women with a bit of meat on 'em, wifey material that, tend to get hit on by a lot of short women for some reason.
