Besides Black history month being in the coldest and shortest month of the year, It should teach alot more than Sojourner and our history from 1800 to present. What about the history of us prior to slavery. Like what another post says in this thread. We are discounting that we come from Kings and that we come from Devine Royalty.

We have been all over this world far before anyone thought about traveling. Just look at the statues that are thousands of years old found from all corners of the earth. Look at the Olmec heads and than look at comedian George Wallace!!! Easter Island, The Pyramids! The Aboriginies of Australia!!! Do you know how long theyve been there? Our black people have been traveling for ages. This is Black History!!! Great Sudenese King Tarkartha who got a shout out in the Bible!!!! The ancient of the Days (Danial 7-9). This is all black history!!!
