http://www.blackchat.co.uk/theblackf...jump_to=399557
thankyou for the articles, it was a very goiod read, however ido havesome questions in which i am having a difficult time finding the answer to....
At which point in history did the enslavement of black africans become the standard norm within the Arab World and much of the near east?
Iknow that occording to several Islamic sources, Bilal was the first convert and a freed African slave. This was around 610-620 a.d. Even after the revelation of the Quran for Muslims...slaveryspand theUmayad, Abbasid, and the Ottoman Empire....black slavery has existed in Arabia for well over amillennium...in fact slavery was not officially banned in Saudi Arabia until the 1960s...
When did this white superiority complex begin to emerge within the Arab World? When did this form of selective breeding begin to take place?
Just like in India, you had a mixed race group of people practice a form of selective breeding for over a 1000 years....favoring the white skin and light eyed......many arabs to this day have a very very curly/kinky hair ( a sign of African genetics) and pale white skin. Why? and When this begin to occur? Ask any arab from Najd tribe...of Riyadh and many will tell you that Arabs are naturally white skinned and favour their European counterparts. (I think the same thing could be said about North Africa especially and the Levant)
White skin and European chracteristicsare favouredheavily by theArab. Why thenso many Black African women have a been raped, mutilated and enslaved by Arab masters? Even to this day, Black African women come to Saudi Arabia and Yemen as immigrants looking for workand many times get kidnapped and sold into slavery and prostitution. Prostitution in Saudi seems toprimarily consist of AFRICAN women. Its a huge human rights issue right now and it is my hope that more of this will come into light...

Assalaam Alaikum
Your source of information is somewhat flawed and reflects more of the same negative sentiment and misinformation.
Bilal is NOT mentioned in the Quran. The ONLY account of Bilal being a African slave is from hearsay racist accounts written 100's of years AFTER Muhammed.
Written by the same people who say Muhammed was white.....bighairlol
Again I have shown the origin, lineage and geographic development of 'Arabs', which has NOTHING to do with what you posted.
Example...Saudi Arabia is a Monarchy established upon nepotism, as was the Ummayyads, Abbassids and others. Has NOTHING to do with Al Islam or who is 'white' or 'black' Arab.
Its no different than the Nation of Islam when you see Farrakhan preaching from the Bible and NOTHING from the Quran. Just using the 'Islam' as a label or monikor
A very important point, NOT all 'Arabs' are Muslim as are NOT all Muslims 'Arab'
Muhammed was from the lineage of Hashim BLACK as night...ALL Black...Father...BLACK...Muhammed's Wives..BLACK..Uncles...Black...Grandfather...Black ...Cousins...Black...Koresh...Black
Which 'Arabs' enslaved and forced the indigenous populations of Africans into slavery and Al Islam?
Arab al-‘Aribah the Southern Arab?
Who are Yemenese, Somalians, Ethiopians, Eritreans, Nubians
Arab al-Musta’ribah the Northern Arab?
Who are Chaeldeans/Iraqi's, Syrians and others of the Gulf Region
Where can we find these enslaved Africans speaking the language of their enslavers? (what country?)

Two points about Bilal:
1) He is not mentioned anywhere in the Quran.
2) He was never freed from slavery. He waited on Mohammed hand and foot until the day Mohammed died. He never was allowed to return to his people or have a family of his own.
Also, I did not know about the prostitution situation in Saudi. Is this from current events or do you mean historically?

but that is not my point....
i agree that there is a difference between the arabized arab and the true original arabs....
but the fact is...the "Chaeldeans/Iraqi's, Syrians and others of the Gulf Region"...decided to enslave Africans by the masses and bring them back into their colonized territory....
my question is, when this this begin? and why? and why were black women being used as breeders?

well both...i would honestly like more information about the historical apsects...
like in Mauritania...africans are still being enslaved by berber "white arabs"...
i do have some links..ill post some when i find...
but it is well knowned that many housekeepers and housemaids are abused and rapedin many arab countries...many of the domestic help comes from south east asia....
but there are also women from east africa..many somalians and ethiopians that came to the gulf looking for better job prospects..only to be sold into thesex slave trade
i was on a forum..they even werewarning African women not to travel to the gulf looking for nursing positions unless they recieve credible information about the legitmacy of the job offer because it could be a scam...u could riskbeing sold into prostitution

Chaeldeans, Iraqis and Syrians were ALL Black!
Now more importantly, where is the history that supports this statement.....
"Chaeldeans/Iraqi's, Syrians and others of the Gulf Region"...decided to enslave Africans by the masses and bring them back into their colonized territory...."

You might try: http://www.realhistoryww.com
Look in Sumer, Canaan and Elam.
For the origin of these people who call themselves Arabs, Egyptians, Berbers, Jews, etc. Look in the end of theAnatolia section.

Assalaam Alaikum Peace & Blessings
Jim the question was related to this statement
""Chaeldeans/Iraqi's, Syrians and others of the Gulf Region"...decided to enslave Africans by the masses and bring them back into their colonized territory...."
Where is the historical evidence to support such a statement? (prefer something other than a website link)

@Aliyah, It has been a long time since a read the about the interaction and presence of "black people" in the Arab region. Thus, some of my information might incorrect. But this is what i remember:
1. The original inhabitants of the Southern Arabian peninsula are the Black Arabs. These include the ; Seba, Hadramut, Sabeans and various other civilizations. You will still find African looking people in Oman and Yemen whom speak the most ancient Southern Arabian Semetic languages. Examples are the Mehra tribe. My understanding is that All Arabstrace their roots to the Qhahtani ancientArabs.
2. At some point nomadic asiatic looking people settled in the Hijaz( Mecca area)region. These people brought racism into arabic culture, although they themselves have some black ancestry down the line. There are apparently some ancient oral traditions which glorify the triumph over the Asiatic Northern Arabs over the Southern Black Arabs.
3. Also bear in mind a large swathe of Southern Arabia region was conquered by Abraha the Abysnian as a response persecution of his fellow Christians by Jews.
Quote:
Quote:The pre-Islamic and early-Islamic era
Black Africans had been coming to West Asia as slaves since the pre-Islamic era. Slaves served as household servants, soldiers and concubines. Three famous pre-Islamic Arab poets - Antar, Khufaf, and Sulayk - were born of Arab fathers and African mothers.
Besides coming to Asia as slaves, black Africans also arrived as conquerors. In the 2nd century, and again in the 4th, Ethiopian armies entered Southern Arabia. The 4th century occupation lasted from 335 AD to 370 AD. Ethiopia invaded Yemen again in 524 AD. In 532, Abraha, one of the Ethiopian generals who led the invasion, seized the South Arabian throne with support from Ethiopian soldiers who wanted to settle in Yemen. Abraha's reign passed to his sons by a Yemeni woman.
At the time of the prophet Mohammed, Mecca relied on a mercenary army of Ethiopians, other sub-Saharan Africans, and Arab nomads to protect its caravan routes and provide escort for the city's prominent families.[suP]1[/suP]
Among Mohammed's companions were many sub-Saharan Africans. Umm (mother) Ayman Baraka, a freed black slave, nursed the Prophet in his childhood. He was later accompanied by Bilal b. Rabah, an Ethiopian slave who became the first Muslim mu'adhdhin (one who calls to prayer). Another early Muslim convert, 'Ammar ibn Yassir, son of an black slave woman Sumayya, accompanied the prophet on all his military campaigns. The title of Faris-al-Islam (knight of Islam) was given to a black convert al- Mikdad b Amr al-Aswad, the only Muslim who fought on horseback during the battle of Badr. Many other African men and women who accompanied Mohammed's family supported the prophet's work and transmitted his teachings.[suP]2[/suP]
3. In the prehistoric Islamictimes there were a bunch of Black poets, who were called the " Crows" and were severly chastised for their black skin. Sometimes they would make defensive poems glorifying their black skin. The most notable and probably the most reverred Arab poet being, Antarra Ibn Shadad:
Quote:
Antara ibn-Shaddad al Absi - Antara (c.525-615) , was one of the seven great pre-Islamic Arab poets, author of the Divan. His father was King Shaddad of the Banu Abs, a Bedouin chief. His mother was Zabiba, an Ethiopian slave. The Bedouin did not acknowledge the paternity of the children they had with slaves. According to legend, Antara bargained with his father for Antara's freedom and Shaddad's recognition in return for the defeat of his tribe's enemies. Antar returned victorious from battle and was acknowledged as a noble, as befitted his paternity. He then married his free cousin Abla, to whom he had dedicated much of his poetry.
Antara (also romanized as 'Antar or Antarah) captured the Arab imagination and became the subject of much literature, including the famed Romance of Antar. The folk hero is still the subject of Arab storytellers today.
Khufaf ibn Nadba - Khufaf was a famous Arab poet from the pre-Islamic era. He was born to an Arab father of the Banu Sulaym and a black African slave mother named Nadba. During the Prophet's triumphal entry into Mecca, Khufaf bore the standard of his tribe.[suP]1[/suP]
Sulayk ibn al-Sulaka - Also known as Ta'abbata Sharran, he is another famous Arab poet from the pre-Islamic era. He was born to an Arab father of the tribe of Fahm and a black African mother. Antar, Khufaf, Sulayk are known collectively as the Crows of the Arabs ('Aghribat al-'Arab) because of the dark complexion they inherited from their mothers.[suP]2[/suP]
