Nubia gave birth to Kemet ( Egypt). It what they said themselves. The documentary does not interpret that way but make your own mind up.. How far back the knowledge and civilisations of humans go is anybodies guess. But maths and astronomy dont lie.

Kemet, as Tukoma mentioned, was built by Africans who came from the South. As soon as they arrived they started building pyramids; they were all ready an advanced civilisation.

What made them different from other Africans? Diop tells us that the roots of All African peoples culture is better understood from those Nile Valley cultures; in fact many of our peoples explicitly say that is where they or their cultures originate.

To understand Kemet is to understand what makes African people great, today.

Hence the historical white wash concerning our history. It has to be done to keep us thinking all we have been, is what white men write in their books.

The fact that European lived in caves is irrelevant. Africans lived in caves too. Just look at the cave art. Caves in of themselves do not make you any more or less intelligent.

This lack of knowledge is apparent in the questioning that led to this topic. Ta-Meri, or KaaUma-Ti (Km.t) is an amalgamation of African cultures, no different than the United States. The sciences study in that region are still being studied all across Africa. The priests don't build like they used to 1) because the same materials are not found anywhere else in Africa and 2) because it brought too much attention to their priesthoods.

The genius which was Ta-Meri is not in what they built, but their cosmological world view. This world view still exist among Ba'Ntu people and Dogona people and Yoruba people to this date.

A good book I recommend (with some reservations) is The Exiled Egyptians by Moustafa Gadalla. Here you can get a sense of why the African continent is the way it is. The rest of Africa are the Kmtjw. There traditions are older than we can count and they can do what they did because simply they paid attention to the language of Nature (Mdw Ntr).
