What you do hear often is a perceived notion by some that Black men are drawn to them. I think many of us know of the fact that many Black men/boys do go through that stage of idealising white women, although not all by any means. We are aware of it and I think its common knowledge.

Instead of bringing race into it, I'd say that women are threatened by 'good looking' women period. Women seem to compete, compete, COMPETE over men like males are rare, and it's sad. Exactly. Are black women/white women even allowed to have a thought that stands alone outside of race? The only valid situation where I can see this happening is if a white woman's man left her for a black woman or admitted attraction to mainly black women...but you can't say then that white women in general would feel this way.

I personally think a lot of white women think the opposite. There are plenty that think they're the creme de la creme and act shocked if a black woman is chosen over them.

Why would you consider a compliment to be patronizing? It's pretty sad when the only comment you want to hear is a negative one...believe what you want.

Funny how i try to point out that white women do find black women attractive and give my own personal thoughts on how i feel given my situation and no one wants to accept or believe it. I just get accused of being fake and i guess the "troll" thing was aimed at me also.

....and yeah it's a stupid name, thanks for that, but i didn't choose it so what can i do.

@Astmartins, hows things? Just got back from Naija /Ghana last week. Had a great time, and came back with my new Nigerian passport, now I need to learn Igbo.....lol.

I guess we are supposed to be so flattered and GRATEFUL, that a WHITE woman thinks we are attractive......sigh........rolls eyes.

Now you are just making shit up. Flattered?? Grateful?? I simply said it is sad that when someone says “black women are attractive” and no black women believe it. You can’t just take a compliment for what it is, you have to turn it around and be all “white girl thinks she’s better than us and is just being patronising and thinks we should be thankful”. That says more about you than it does about me.

You are throwing your own perceptions back on me.

Personally I believe that the majority of women envy the hour glass shape with perfect breast and bum.. Regardless of skin colour.
I do not believe white women are jealous of black women.
We are all human.. And we all have different prefences of what we personally find attractive.
I believe in interracial relationships.
The only reason ppl hate on other ppl is because consciously or sub-consciously there jealous or feel inferior.. Dnt watch that, your bigger than that y'hear?

Generally, I would say that white women are not threatened and it is more and more often the black women [usually unnecessasarily...!]that feel this threat. A white woman can decide if she wants to step over, whereas a black man may want to, but may not be 'accepted' anyway!

Maybe it is due to the weakness of more of our men. Also, in a predominantly black function, maybe more black men would fancy that woman but haven't the front/nerve to make a move!

Women [of all colours] also remember that your power is that you could walk into a room of 100 men virtually anywhere in the world...and maybe 50/60...even 90! ('cos you're so hot!!) of those men could be attracted to yourself.... You on the other hand may only find 3 or 4 of these men attractive!! Need I say more ...??
