@Mafdet
If Lucas carries on like that he'll need more than lip balm...maybe a fat juicy steak to rub on his mash up swollen lips......mmmmmm
I went to Culpeppers on Saturday....mmmmm the smell of that shop! Anyway I noticed they were selling a sensual sexy mix, and it smelt Divine. Cost a fortune soI jotted down the ingredients and here it is...
Black pepper
Sandalwood
Patchouli
Ylang Ylang
So we can make it up ourselves I thought. I already have and its beautiful. I mixed about ten drops of each oil together in a fresh new bottle, and then topped bottle up with some sweet almond oil. I rubbed it all over after my bath yesterday, and this morning up at the school two people said I smelt lovely.
Mafdet do you know what they said....

Interesting thread and I am glad you raised these points. Now from the Caribbean upbringing I always use pine when cleaning the house also pine is a good oil to use to ward of insect/bugs especially mosquitoes they do not like pine. When I clean the house I like to put some drops of pine oil in a little water and spray it around the house or in the water as I clean the floor boards.
I put a few drops of oil on the light bulbs in my home when the bulbs warm up it gives the room a lovely aroma, this is a simple technique and you don't need to go out and buy expensive oil burning devices only 1 or 2 drops on the light bulb.
Now and then I change the scent I must have my kitchen smelling of pine or lemon and it has to be patchouli in the bathroom that scent is so fresh and cleanand I like Lavender in the living room but it has to be a nice musk in the bedroom. Also a few drops of peppermint in hot water and left in the room is good especially at this time of year with all the flue symptons it helps you breath better.
I may come back a little later with some more.
Citronella oil is excellent for keeping bugs and ants at bay. I bought some from Superdrug(99p) , the pharmacist (from Goa) recommended it when I was going to Barbados. I used a few drops in my body cream to keep mosquitos at bay, I wasn't bitten half as bad as I was many years ago when I wentabroad.A few drops on cotton balls abd wipedon area where ants tend to gather.....they run like crazy.

@AQ
Yes Citronella is great for getting rid of those little devils. I burn it in my house all Summer long and the flies wont come Anywhere near.
My Mother got badly bitten in her eye while she was sleeping last Summer. Damn mosquitoes! She looked really gruesome, and she was scared it would happen again. So I made her up an oil that was mainly Citronella with a touch of Lavender in it. She rubbed it all over face and body every night and never got stung again.
What are your favourite oils AQ?

@Locsy
Thanks for that gem sis I will def give it a try good on you for taking down the ingrediants much appreciated. Just browsing through my Baldwin catalogue earlier seems I have to add more to my list now. Had a visitor today and he was showing me some brochures the man got so comfortable he started rubbing his belly as a sign of comfort and relaxation. I looked at him and smiled and he replied that my home is so cosy and smells nice makes him just want to take of his shoes and relax. Thats the seasonal recipe you gave to us up there its working so well.
Locsy because I buy in bulk do you have sesonal recepie for Autumn Spring and Summer combinations to burn in the house what would you suggest so I can stock up now.
@AQ
I got a couple of sticks of Citronella that I burn in the summer when I am in the garden it does work.niceone.gif

Hey Lucas!
Got a Brilliant recipe just for you to put a zing in your step and a boost to your Manhood...
Grab about six nice Big red chilli peppers and chop them up finely.
Pour about six tablespoons of olive oil onto the chillis...mix together.
Let the mixture mature for about 2 days...then
After a nice long hot bath, massage your entire lower trunk with the mix...(dont leave any Little bits out now......)
This is especially good to use before you go out on a date with that Lucky lady.
Good Luck....banana.gif

In answer to your question about what oils I burn in different seasons.
Basically I;m a Spicy person so I;ll always have some Patchouli or Sandalwood burning whatever the season.
But in the Spring, when I start decorating the house again, I usually go for Geranium/Rose Geranium, Bois de Rose, Jasmine. I;ll keep the fragrance a bit lighter, but a drop or two of Patchouli usually finds it way in the burner bowl.
I like mixing just a drop of peppermint oil to a mixture, gives it an interesting lift. Rose Geranium, Patchouli and a drop of peppermint is nice.
Lemon and Orange and Patchouli is nice in the Bathroom.
Also its nice in a plant spray with spring water and sprayed on bed clothes
