So some of our lady friends in the western world view muslim women as backwards because they cover themselves and the only way to liberate such women is to have them remove the hijab and put on mini skirts.

Let me give you a brief background. European missionaries came to Africa in the 1800s saw certain tribes of Africans walking around in the jungle half dressed and according to historical accounts these missionaries named these native Africans as ''savages'' on the basis that they were semi dressed, this happened about 150 years ago.

We are living in 21st century Britain and during the summer and sometimes even the winter months one observes that the most naked of people walking in the streets of Britain are the very European women who called us savages for doing the same thing 150 years ago. What is even funnier our black women are copying their naked ways.

So where are they today? they started laughing at the savage, turned the ''savage civilised'', 150 years later do what the ''savage'' used to do, and try to influnce the former ''savage'' to return to the ''savage'' ways. Very strange isn;t it?

Second point is walking naked and exposing your body is nothing new and just because you expose your body it doesn;t make you liberated. islam came to arabia 1500 years ago. before the advent of islam Arabs used to walk around the streets and places of worship in a state of total nudity what we now aptly call ''naturalists way''. it was islam which educated Arabs that it is not appropriate for human beings to walk naked in public, to become drunk senslessly (think of friday nights Britain), to kill unwanted babies (we have a similar thing abortion), to treat women as sex objects (think of all the brothels and lapdancing clubs in Britain) and that human beings can lead a higher form of existence than the animalistic existence. rather than living for the joys of the genitals a human being can live for the joys of the intellect and his/her soul which are the highest forms of enjoyment.

We could look at it this way, what the europeans are doing now and are thinking of it as being libertaion is what pre-muslims did 1500 years ago and have found better ways to live.

The current 'liberated' western woman can drive a car, run a business, and even speak in public. But give her a simple task like running a marriage and make a successful marriage she struggles, run a home she struggles, cook a meal she doesn;t know where to begin. Raise a decent child she raises a drug addict.

Tell a modern woman she is sexy she feels flattered hile she probably has alot more to offer as a human being but she will never ever see herself worthwhile until she can prove to herself she can attract a man and bring her to her bedroom.

Arab dress and conversely,mulsim dress has its roots in the desert. However, wearing hijab or niqaab in the western,urban world causes that dress to be redifined.

Take of that Burqa of, it's stopping the air from reaching that damaged brain of yours (due to lack of oxygen). Offcourse muslim women are oppressed.

I mean, theywear this garment on their head,.. but dont be fooled! Actually, it's a parasite that grows in the deserts of the arabic peninsula and it consumes oxygen when placed on the head...thereof the low IQ.

But that's not all..on the fith day of their oppressed existence, the head of the male members of their family (usually named Mohamed or something really chauvinistic..like..Abdulla) marries them off with the owner of the nearest oriental shop (usually some middleaged dude named Ali Baba)..all in exchange for a couple of camels. Why do your men do this? Why do they oppress women?Why do they have weird names? Why dont they shave off their beards? Why? Why? Why?OMG..I feel sorry for you.

Special religious requirements have been placed on muslim men and women, as it happens dresses which satisfy these requirements for women tend to come from Arabia. However if one chooses so he could go to Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt,Sudan, Pakistan or Indonesia and get other dresses which also satisfy these requirements. Requirement is to cover certain parts of the body not to adopt dress of certain cultures. If you can cover those parts with 2 plain sheets of clothing it is sufficient.

I think we are being quite short sighted here, I assume you are a christian, have you taken a close look at how your Nuns dress? Because their dressing isn;t much different from Muslim dress is it? Yet nuns from places as diverse as Brazil, Russia, Greece, Phillipines etc dress the same way and we don;t see you attacking your nuns for adopting Arabic dress do we.


Do you have a dislike for Hijab because it is Islamic or because it is Arabic? Would you have less of a problem with Hijab had it originated from China? I mean you chose to wear suits and jeans which originated from Europe and no one is giving you a hard time over your choice of clothing. Why pass judgement on the mental state of Muslim women of African origin just because they adopted dress from a different part of the world from you? If you love your Africanism so much why not throw away your jeans and return to animal skin and dry leaves?

They are many current liberated western women that can cook, run successful marriages and raise very good children of society. Who is to say that the "oppressed woman" can't raise a drug addict to?

Those women are thought as second class citizens. They have to be FULLY dress even in the hottest weather. They should make the men do the same thing.
