Since the age of 16 I have started to build up what I consider to be a collection of very tasteful and sexy body piercings (with the recent addition of a small tattoo). I love the piercings I have which include my nose, ears and tragus (look it up!), and have no regrets in getting any of them done as each has been done fora reason or holds a meaning for me. However, I have noticed that these days people seem to be getting tattoos and piercing to be 'cool' rather than for meaning...and end up hating them after a while! My mum has always considered my piercings as a waste of money and self mutalation....what do u guys think! Are tattoos and piercings sexy and a way of expressing your self, or merely just a fad thats ultimatley self mutalationconfused3? Chanz XXX

Oh dear...think i've made myself out to be something like some kinda freak showbighairlol, please believe me when I say that my tattoo is v'small and the piercings that I have are infact quite tame (no private areas!!!).Just checkin' the general opinion on them....I'm very happy with mine! chanz XXX

i have one tattoo and i pierced my navel but took it out, pierced my nose but took that out too! and i have a couple of ear piercings i dont look punkified tho! they are modest. i fink tattoo'smake beautiful body art when people don't overdo it. i like mehndi (they are likea swirly sort if pattern) tattoos which look pretty. piercings r ok when not overdone and not common like those piercings on lip which don't suit everyone.

my ears were pierced by my mother as a baby, (tradition), i had my navel piercedwhen i came out of hospital after being there for 3 months following a car crash, i had my navel pierced as sort of a celebration of my body making it thru a difficult time.

i dont have any tattoos but i would love to get one in honour of my brother that passed away when he was 15, i just need to find the right symbol that will fit the purpose.

i find body art beautiful and interesting, if it has a purpose.

like me....sounds like most people get their tattoos and piercings because they wanna rather then following fashionclp)! Ps....got the majority of my stuff when it wasnt fashionable to be pierced..:P!!was thinking of being a little daring and piercing something naughty, not sure wot tho..(suppose u can always take them out after a while!)!

There is a limit that I can take from Girls/Women having tatoos like.................

.....................if they have three and there small but meaningful tatoos, man won't make noise.

On the other hand if she has BARE tatoos which are tacky, big, nasty and all over her body, man hates that. Now that is self-mutalation just like those Whiteys with tatoos all ove their body.

Black Girls/Women have such beautiful skin that the one(s) (God or Gods) gave to you to show off in certain places like Beaches and ting, but not to scare your bodies like you are from an Ancient Warrior Tribe ready for war.

Piercings in places like Eyebrow, Top of the Ear, Nose, Top of the Lip, underneath the Bottom Lip, Tongue and Belly Button is cool like but..........

..................piercing your nips, clit, and other MAD places like that is VERY disturbing.

Why do you ladies fellow those European Americans or Whiteys because remember the majority on this planet are VERY NASTY and F**KED UP people. Us copying them makes us no better neither.

So Nubian Princesses.............down tone the piercings and tatoos and have a certain limit, cause de man dem on a deeper level can not take the over doing it of those things, ok!!!!!!

agree that piercings and tattoos can be beautiful and sexy WITHIN MODERATION, but not sure that I follow your whole comment....correct me if i'm wrong but thought that piercing and tattoos origionated in places like africa and india?confused3??

Tattos - as long as they are not overwelming I like them, I see one woman with a henna tattos that look like a braclet on wrist I liked that one.

Some piercing I like; for me it the nose & ears anything else is a little to much for me.

a colleague of mine had both her nipples pierced soon after having a boob job.i thought having both breast done was a bit too much.

the piercing i've got are the ones i had when i was baby.i would like tohave another piercing in ears but too scared. i have no problems with tattoo or piercing but as long as is not overdone, cause then it becomes tacky.
