another make-up question
do you agree with this as to when to throw away make-up and replace them or is this just the industries way of getting you to keep buying new kit
taken from http://www.theladiesclub2000.com/beautytips.htm
Makeup Toss!
[*] Liquid Foundation - Approximately 1 Year [*] Powder Foundation - Up to 2 Years [*] Mascara - 3 Months maximum - If in doubt throw it away! [*] Eye and Lip Pencils - 2 Years [*] Lipstick or Gloss - Up to 2 Years or more if kept in a cool dry place. [*] Eye Shadows - Several years...However, use new applicators
[*] NOTE: If any eye infection occurs throw out all eye makeup immediately! Wait until the problem is cleared up before applying anymore cosmetics

I'm just discovering make-up myself and recently bought the Maybelline mousse in cocoa which had the same effect on me; was teling my sister that they need to offer a shade between caramel and cocoa ... Anyone know if there is one?

I note that no one has mentioned Flori Roberts(maybe I'm showing my age). This company was popular in England many years ago, but is now mainly sold in USA. Customers of mine tend to prefer this range as opposed to Iman. I currently stock Iman, Flori Roberts and another range called Interface(which is specifically for black skin). I obtain my stock direct from USA and sell Foundations for approx £12 (Oil Free, Cream to Powder and full coverage). It is a small business(but growing).
You can visit my website lookgoodfeelgoodlondon.co.uk, however, it is still under construction (any help on web design would be grateful).
In my view one should do the best for their skin before considering a makeup application.
By the way I use mostly MAC and Kryolan brushes on my makeovers. Good brushes can make a big difference.
Oh and customer service is a top priority!

How do you guys determine your shade without having a make over. You know when your in a rush and just wanna buy the make up, quickly. I can't seem to find foundation to match my skin tone. I'm currently wearing MAC powder but i want something with a little more coverage, natural and not cakey for oily skin. Is there anybody in the birmingham/midlands region that can recommend a good make up counter? not fashion fair, something for yellow tones...

I love Caribbean Caribbean, Jouvet Morning, Mud Mas....Sweet Soca Playing.....Bouyon Stylee.....
