I know most people on here are sexually active and hopefully have actually had some companionship along the way,but in the wave of unhappy relationships and broken marriages around at the moment,I was just wondering what is more important to you sex or companionship?? If you had to choose one from now till the end of your life would it beSEX or COMPANIONSHIP??? Please give reasons...
(P.S. IN THIS LIL ASSUMPTION YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL THE KIDS YOU WANT BIOLOGICALLY...)

I doubt that anybody who was being serious about it would choose sex... active or not.
You realise that one of the biggest punishments you can dish out to a human is to deny them personal contact? Solitary confinement usually leads to insanity and massive depression.
Celibacy (though not something I find enticing) seems to lead to happiness... so say surveys of monks and so on. They dont go MAD at any rate lol.

Rotflmao @efenjee but I agree I can’t make up my mind either.
My initial answer was sex because I have my friends and family blah blah for companionship but then I realised that partner and friend’s companionship is quite different. And also SOHO caters a wide variety of tools that could keep you errrr satisfied not that I ever been to any of this shops you understand?
Companionship without sex sounds a bit like platonic friendship to me and I fail to see theGREAT difference between having friends and a partner you have no sex with? For me to choose this option.
Well i guess i can't make up my mind eitherconfused3

i think that this is quite a diificult one, right now i would choose companionship only because i have just come out of a painful relationship. to be honest i would never want to be in a position where i would have to make that kind of decision because that is a tough one!

@ efee niceone.gif
its hard I know, but I'm asking because people mostly sacrifice one for the other,I always hear people say "I can't do without sex in 3days by the way I'm single",how does that work??
@ Abs its true that it may seem like unless you're sleeping with someone the friendship is platinic, but I've noticed that even with your closet friends of the opposite sex, they don't really know everything about you,you still hold something back, where as in anromanticrelationshipwith or without sex you tend tobear your soul,so I think there's a difference between a platonic friend and a romantic relationship without sex...
@citygyl its always like that for now, well till you decide to re-bound that is...
