Are you more attracted to long or short hair?

I found that I get much more attention from the ladies when my hair is real short. When it is grown out a bit in a TWA or modest but well-kept afro, I get less attention. Actually, to be honest, I will get more attention from White women intheprofessional setting than from African women. It is odd, because when my hair is short, I get irritating questions from white people like, "did you play ball in college" since I have a decent build. But when my hair is longer, it is almost as if I get more respectwith it as a professional from White men & women, and naturally White woman become interested in intimacy. However, the complete opposite effect seems to happen with my African sisters.

Could it be thatsisters prefer more ofthe "clean cut" look over longer natural hair on men, or I just don't look good with an afro? confused3

Personally, I like most hairstyles on black men, but I must say that my favourites are short hair and locks, depending on the guy. Most black women I know do tend to like short hair on men. Even the oneswholike white male celebrities tend toprefer the oneswho have short hairstyles.I know some black girls who all of the sudden thought that Justin Timberlakewas cute after hecut his hair short.Andsome of these same females claimed that he looked faggity when he had long hair.LOL.

I think there's something about short hair that make men look, well, manly and sexy.

As for the white peopleyou mentioned, your long hair may appeal to them because of it's novelty.There aren't too many black men with 'fros about sothey might see it as exotic andyou know how they are with anythingthat falls under the "exotic" category.

I'm the opposite i'm attracted to men with longer hair. Nice plaits or even a big Afro.

Plus i find that men who do grow their hair tend to understand more about what us ladies have to go through.

I guess I have to decide whether I want to be more "manly" or not. I am a sexually secure person, so I can go either way...although the attention does feel better. I guess I see why my sisters tend to straighten their hair.

long short or bald. as long as it aint relaxed and you keep it neat, I don't care! I'm a big fan of a man with neat well kept locs but equally a fan of a nice clean cut. and yep bald can be sexy smoking-devil

Oh dear, please don't let my post discourage you from wearing your hair long. Not all men look "manly" with short hair, some people are the lost cause. This was all based on general observation and should not be applied to every man. Maybe you can interchange your hairstyles even.

And as for the straightening hair bit, that doesn't work for everybody. I swear the whole stands at attention, just kidding, to admire me when I wear my natural hair out. But as soon as I straighten it, most people don't even notice. You know I once spent 2 hours at a salon getting my hairtrimmed and straightened and when I went to meet my ex. for dinner, he took one look at me and asked "what the hell did you do to yourself?"Lol. What works for someone doesn't always work for you.
