Why cant we be allowed to chomp how we want?

I mean some of you are so obsessed, you deliberately go on a meal for two just to check out his table manners...whats that all about.

Its so bad you're prepared to dump a brotha over it, and all because clearly he likes his food.

Please girls stop this obsession and allow a man to eat in peace, even if most of it ends up on his shirt rather than in his mouth.

its the sound effects that go with eating i can't stand. But then that is from everybody, not just men. I also hate it when people have sauce dripping down their chin or something in the corner of their mouth, and they don't pick up subtle hints to wipe it off!!

because its disgusting and rude to see a grown man gobble down food like he three years old and like he hasnt had any home training. No man who eats like he has an IQ of 64 is going to be seen with me in public. If you expect us to act like "ladies in the street" as the saying goes,we expect you to act accordingly. How would youfeel if you went out with a lady, fine as hell, fresh to deathand when you get to the restaurant you find out she eats like a cotdamn moose?!

My friend once told me of a time she went on a date with an older man. They got to the restaurant, she order a steak he ordered a burger. By the time they got done there was sauce all over his mouth, food all on his shirt. This man was nearly forty years old, eating like a damn child and all he could say was " i know im messy, im sorry" That was the first and last date she ever went on with him and she never returned his calls after that.

Personally I find it unacceptable for men to:

Chew with their mouth open
Chat with food in their mouth
Make slurpping noises
Lick fingers
Gobble down his food like he's on death row and its his last meal
once said food has been gobbled GRAB FOOD FROM MY PLATE ASUMMING I DIDN'T WANT IT SINCE I HADNT EATEN IT YET (sorry, personal memorys there lol!)
Have food dripping down his chin, shirt, etc...

I mean come on! nothing wrong with a man enjoying his food but its hardly the way to impress a woman now is it?

clp)Nothing for me to add, except thati hate the sound effect MB is talking about the most. Especially hatethe noise they make whendrinking..... like the old white ladies who make that excruciating sipping noise when drinking teayiks!

The sound of someones smacking lips and tongue is one sound that is sure to infuriate me, whether male or female.......its one of the most disgusting things to hear..................sorry.

I thought it was just me who had a problem with the way people eat. I used to moan at my ex all the time about the way he ate rice; rather than chew it, he sucked it - something I'd never get my head around. He also finished a whole meal in 5 minutes, I used to try and avoid eating round him. He used to tell me I was just being moany!!!

I also hate it when people dig the food out of their mouth with their finger and then suck it off - errrggghhh!!!

I just don't like being around others whilst they're eating. PERIOD!!!!
