I am closing this topic. I rather go to a American message board where there is freedom of speech.

Hi Miami_Chick_Name_Un3qu3
i think that many ppl may have something to say abt your topic, possibly not what you want to hear.
But to be real, and choosing my words carefully, i can relate to what you are saying and i think that there is a percentage of women who have also felt this way at some point.
i think its important not to let such negative things snatch ur focus or you will end up missing out on someone good. there are alot of bad seeds out there and many men have emotional baggage and issues with women.
i think we as women are raised with some false romantic notion of men- that they are just waiting to be prince charming when some just cant live up to the pressures of being responsible and doing the right thing, so the sooner we realise this the less dissappointed we will be and the more we will appriciate the men that DO live up to their responsibilities and CAN do the right thing, because they are the dimes.
there are many examples of men who choose to marry non black women, and that is their choice, i think its better to just leave them to it because they will always be there, and rather than feed this negativity back into the community we should just concentrate and give attention to the BM who still love and appriciate BW, and vice versa...and hopefully this will influence the next generation to honour black love instead of stepping out.(tho i know these men that put non black women on pedestals to the detrement of black women and black ppl as a whole are highly annoying and should be shot)
oh and to the brothers who will prolly jump on her back for this thread yes it is a generalisation and that is not cool, but rather than sweep the topic away as a "genaralisation" of black women, maybe you should listen to the frustrations and hurts of what someone has brought up (in exactly the same way women should listen to men), and maybe black men and women will start gettin to know eachother better instead of dissing eachother all the time

How is it bullshit? It is the truth rather you want to believe it or not. It's funny how black women are so fast to defend black men, when they never defend you.

I found the authors response interesting...afterall I did warn her that this subject is done to death..and we at least have moved on from the lazy slagging off of BM or BW...[i think!]... So why has she gone off in a huff..surely this cannot be the only subject worth discussing or the that she felt she needed to nail her colours on the mast for..strange!!!
At the end of the day the thread wasn't locked, people just refused to go down that road again..surely thats their progative non?
Freedom of thought expression anyone?
