Anyone familiar with the furore regarding "A Million Little Pieces"?

This is what I know,apparently the authour is catching seven different types of hell at the moment for basically having lied about so many of the events in his memoir.

Oprah Winfrey has had to retract her support and has basically had to eat huge servings of Humble Pie after she so vehemently supported him on Larry King when all the drama was kicking off.

I know the author-think his name is James Grey-must be descending down a serious shame spiral at the moment,I wouldnt be surprised if he was on a suicide watch.

Anyway anyone have have any further reports??

A Million Little Pieces or A Million Little Lies as it has been renamed in media circles. A so called memoir by James Frey.

It was known from the onset that there were embellishments in Mr Frey's account of events that took place whne he was a guest of a Minnesota Rehab centre, however it turns out that his 3 month stint was in fact a 2 hour visit!! After his book appeared on Ms Winfrey's Book of The MonthClub, it sold millions. Dat will teach her.So, Ms Winfrey defended Mr Frey on Larry King, saying that the lessons to be learnt from that book, far out weigh the ummm, little white lies, excuse the pun. However, she has retracted said defence, and is basically looking like a bit of a twit actually.
