Is there anyone out there who would like to join me on a onine/offline
mission that aims to list on this website, within the new 'Care In The
Community' section, all the African and caribbean Organisations based
in the UK that are currently in place to help the young, the old and infirm,
the mentaly unstable, ect. I would also like help in finding and listing all the
care homes based in the UK that cater for the needs of African and
Caribbeans.

Aims and objectives for 1st Section

To list and promote all care and supportive services for the elderly people of
African Caribbean descent who are inhabitants of the United Kingdom.

# To Highlight and promote meeting places for elderly African and Caribbean
people to enable those who are infirm and disabled to meet with others and
keep in touch with their local and wider community.

# To promote activities that are culturally appropriate,

# To highlight and/or develop community care services which can be delivered
to people in their own homes and Day Centers, thus providing a range of services
to elderly and disabled African Caribbean people.

# To work in conjunction with the health services to promote health and social
welfare initiatives and highlight local venues for clinics and other health activities to
enable African and Caribbean people to have a better quality of life.

# To promote the health of such people and to relieve those who are infirm and sick.

# To assist in the provision and delivery of better housing conditions for African
Caribbean elderly people.

If you want to help all you have to do is to search for and list in this section any
carers services or organisations that are in place to help African and Caribbeans.
