Letter from Enfield Borough Solicitor
Quote:
Ref: PC/RC/4488
Date 24 July 2007
Dear Mr Lynch
We note that you appear to have taken scant regard of our letter of 6th July and continue to make comments about officers of this authority and those closely connected to it that are both offensive and unnecessary. We take particular exception to the recent unfounded allegations towards Mr Nicholas. Your publishing of these comments to third parties is unconscionable and libelous.
Be in no doubt that if you continue to send correspondence of this nature we will report matters to the police without further reference to you.
We are also minded to give you notice that we consider your repeated requests for the same information to be sufficient for us to declare you a vexatious requester (i.e we will no longer entertain or engage in corespondence with you in relation to these requests) and, as such, a formal decision notice will follow.
Given the apparent contempt with which you treated our previous requests we fear that we will need to involve the police to finally restrain your behaviour however we sincerely hope that you will take heed of our warnings and desist your unfounded campaign with immediate effect.
Yours sincerely
Philip Copland
Borough Solicitor
