Miss B-days,

I cannot express nothing but 1000 percent pure sympathies for the people of Grenada. I also express my 1000 percent to the rest of the people of the Caribbean and in the Southeatern and so far the Midwestern and Northeaster USA. I 'm from Georgia. In all honesty, I thought that Ivan was going to be bad, but I didn't think that it would cause that much damage to partically just about half of the world. I don't live on a coastal line, but I may as well live in one. Ivann , the terrible as I call him was so freakin' bad that many school children had to stay out of school. I couldn't go to work, wires were down, trees , some as big as giants were scattered all over the place, winds were blowing so hard that I thought a tornado came. That's the odd thing, there were numerous tornadoes in my state. Four people have dies here including a little 6 year old girl who was swept away from the strong waters that yook her away and a guy tried to drive his way though the flood. He ended up having to swim through it. It was awful. I live in the outskirts of Atlanta. It may not be on a coatal plain, but it's effects was terrible. Florida had it theworst. If Ivan( the terrible) caused all of this problem on the regular land, I can't imagine just how much problem cased for the people of Grenada ,the rest of the West Indies and the easternUSA.

I'm fine and I'm beyond thankful that I still have my home, my familyand mostly my life, but I also sending my condolences and continued prayer for those people who didn't survive the storms and even though who have and my be troubled by the ordeal. God is with them and he will help them throughout their troubled times. Right now there are many in the west Indian community and non-West Indian communites who are helping out in the rebuilding of their countries and the states. I'm going to donate whatever I can to help. Just like those people, I've seen devastation in my life and people was there in my time of crisis. I want to do the same. Even it wsn't the cause, it's the right thing to the , the commonsense thing to do, the godly thing to do.

Mansamusa,

Thank you for your kind words. Just continue to pray for the people of Grenada and the Southeastern and, Midwestern and Northeastern USA. Thankfully Tropical Storm Jeanne hasn't materalized like Ivan, though they said it has killed 250 people in Haiti and two in Puerto Rico(They will be in my prayers as well)They said that there were also another possible hurricane/Tropical Storm, Carl. I haven't heard much about this one, but I don't think it's going to materialize into much as well and let's all pray that it doesn't become as vicious as Ivan, the terrible.

grenflag

its so sad man, my grans house got ruined. The roof blew off and because of that the rain etc mashed up the inside, and she had a stroke 2 months ago and is bed ridden, so that made it even worse.

the house was a good house as well so imagine all the shacks etc. My aunty had some old tree (about 100 years old or so) in front of her house and the force split the tree so that is an indicator of how hard the hurricane was.

Luckily my aunts house is sort of downhill so the hurricane pretty much over her head, and my gran is staying with her.

I am going to send a barrel and see what i can collect as i do not trust giving cash.

~Peace~

I know I was not alone in praying for all those who were endangered from so many hurricanes, in a row.

Probably saved a lot of lives. Still one innocent life lost is too many.

My condolences to all.
