Hiya Ladies
There's a new established social/networking group for professional or anyone who is interested in meeting like minded people for career discussions,tips,ideas etc. You don't have to be a professional so do not be put off by that word. Whatever field you maybe in, however you choose to define yourself is perfectly acceptable. The idea is for black gay professional/like minded women to come together twice a month and network..... from my own personal experience this need is long overdue.
The premise of the group is owner of glassbar/Southopia. The group meets twice a month @ Southopia.
The next meeting is on the 26th May
Venue: Southopia
Time: 8pm (promptly).
Come along and have your say, and meet with like minded black women who believe in progression and not digression. Meet with women who can share, and not withold. Come meet with women who can debate but not dictate.
Secondly.
There will be an offical launching of the group
Date: Sat/ June 4th.
Venue: Southopia
Time: 8pm (promptly)
Agenda:
8-8.30pm, Greeted by (owner Glassbar/Southopia). With a welcoming glass of Champagne and Canapes.
8.30-9.30pm; 'Ice Breaker'-Group Games.
9-9.10pm - Intro to the group's aims & Sisafest intro.
9.10-Late; Mingle/Chat/Swap cards, etc.....
Admission: Free.
