BBC call for film makers

The Roots project in London (a partnership between Arts Council England and BBC English Regions) has launched a new filmmaking competition in association with BBC New Talent and BBC London. We're looking for 10 aspiring filmmakers with creative and surprising Untold London stories.
These need to be factual ideas but can incorporate the arts, (spoken word, dance, music etc). We will work with the 10 finalists over 2-3 weeks to then produce their story for BBC London news. We are particularly keen to target BME communities.

Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/untold where you can enter online or download a word application form. Or you can call 08700 10 60 60 and an entry form will be posted to you.
Closing date 1st July 2005

Shehani Fernando Roots Coordinator 020 7208 9663
