Hi, DarkNLovely here representing the young intelligent, females with wisdom and open mindness to learn more. i wanna bring up the topic of complexions. nowadays all you see on tv is light skinned women. light skinned is seen as more acceptable more attractive than the ebony-skinned female because it's closer to the complexion of the Caucasions. i get very heated when i see examples of 'light being right' when it comes to music videos, black men and in the working world of many countries. as someone of Jamaican heritage it saddens me to see that the people you see of a higher status, the females you see working at banks and other coporate businesses are of a light complexion. we have been brain-washed (our men especially) to think that you have to be light with long flowing hair to be accepted, found attractive, etc. hence why many people are embarrasing themselves by bleaching their skin and denying the beauty of the darker tone. never forget the saying "THE DARKER THE BERRY THE SWEETER THE JUICE" yea yea!! clp)
