WHATS THIS GOT TO DO WITH THE TOPIC?

After the Arab/Asiatic/Semitic destruction of Black Civilization in West Asia and Africa, how many Female Regents existed in the history of the West Asian region in antiquity?...particularly when the women were forced to wrap themselves up...how much liberty was there truly?

I can give you at least three female regents, or queens, in African history...

Queen Amina Sarauniya of Hausaland...

Queen Tiye of Kemet...

Queen Nzinga of Angola...

Queen Eti (w/ husband Perehu) of Punt...

...and there are many more that could be named. Is that number even comparably high in the Arab civilizations that you adore so much? Interesting how much freedom, liberation, prosperity women have in a society when they can dress freely as long as it is within good taste...

Wooden statue of ancient Nile Valley woman...

He is trying to say that Africans are un parallelled when it comes to respect for their women before the presence of outsiders. Most if not all African societies at one point were Matriarchal and at the same time managed to hold up a respect for both males and females that this planet hasn't seen since.

What he is trying to say is that Africans managed to treat women as the Goddesses they are without having to ever cover their faces for millenia.

He is saying something along the lines of, Islam's treatment of women is nothing special compared to what Africa has managed without ever having to cover women up, meaning there must be something wrong elsewhere if the solution for getting women respect is covering them up. Which incidentally is what I was trying to say at the beginning of the thread.

Stop feigning ignorance. You know that the use of "goddess" in Ras Ruben's post is figurative and nothing more. Let's look at an excerpt from your thread-starter:

Code:
For a Muslim woman who wears the hijaab, she is judged by her mind and
her deeds only...not by how sexy she looks, how much cleavage she's showing and how much make up she's wearing. when a man looks at her, he looks into
her eyes and his focus is on what she says and the way she thinks and not
anything else. that is freedom.
If it was true freedom, then the men would wrap themselves up as well. Ask your Muslim husband to wrap his face upto"liberate him" and see what happens. You women have been duped, and now brainwashed to like it.

you dont understand anything. women who choose to wrap them selfs up, meaning wearing the full veil, which covers there face, do so beacuse they want to. islam doesnt tell them to do this. islam just tells them to cover up their beauty and not expose their private parts for everyone to see, how one chooses to cover up is up to her.. iam a muslim women and i dont cover my face, or cover up myself all in black.. i am not saying women who choose to do this are wrong in doing this.. but its up to them how they choose to cover up..

and why would i ask my husband to cover up his face?? no where in the quran (the holy book) does it say women should cover up their faces... HIJAB... and VEIL are to different things... a hibab is the covering of the hair and a veil (NIJAB) IS THE covering of the face,,, AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY YOU WOMEN,,, why are u putting us all in to one box like we are all the same.. arab muslims asian and african muslims all have different cultures but all are muslims they dress islamicly but all have their own way of covering..
AND I DONT GET UR LAST QUESTION WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY IM I HERE... WHAT HAS AFRICAN CULTUR GOT TO DO THE ISLAM

@ Submission

Never in your life underestimate the sexual motivation of the testosterone in men.

A woman in a potatosack dress with bulges near her breast area are enough to make 50% of the men on this board attracted to her and this is before they even see any other part of the woman.

Just because Muslim women do everything in their religion to cover themselves up, does not mean that men have not developed ways to "see" around the cover ups.

We are men and a lot of times we see past the clothing and a lot of times if we are desperate enough we don't care what is underneath the clothing.

If you take nothing from this thread, watch the eyes of men even Muslim men if they see a woman's face that turns their head and watch their eyes gravitate to other areas waiting for the cloth to hit some par of her body at the right moment so that they can make a judgement.

Men are men no matter what God they serve. They will ALL lie about it, but the truth is in the eyes.

You wonder what my shade is,
What it represents.
Call me anything;
An extremist, a fundamentalist,
Anything you desire.
I don't care.

My shade is
My protection
from this evil world,
from roaming eyes,
from diseased hearts.
Call me anything;
Vain or Submissive.
I don't care.

My shade is
My Protection
of my beauty,
reserved for one
special gift
that God has given me;
My Life Partner.

This world
is but a fleeting moment
about to end
at Any Time.
The Signs are here.
The Day of Judgement is coming.
No one will enter my grave with me except
My body, my heart, my soul.

Call me a pessimist,
Distressed,
Repressed,
Oppressed,
I don't care.

My shade
Covers me
Like a tree from the sun;
Like a coat of wax
on your shiny new sportscar.

My shade
My protection,
is my Khimaar,
I am a woman of Islaam.

Got a couple of deep muslim female friends with a mutual respect for our conscious thougt processes and patterns. Nothing more insulting for a woman with a brain to be seen solely as a sex object and likewise nothing more insulting for a conscious brotha to be seen only for his money or his material assets and not his core values. Indeed I think it's why me and them are so cool, like my children, they are the first set of people who's interest in me has been proven to be beyond what I can provide financially.

But for sure, watch out for money monkies walking with their drawz on show and/or exposing a tattoo ....though that fashion statement seems to have run its course now.

Still, I think with women versatility and contrast is key. Man I got a girlfriend who loves wearing them seventies underwear that Pam Grier used to wear. Man once she puts on that afro wig that's me gone. Nice to see after seeing thongs worn like there's no tomorrow. So yep men being men as far as most are oncerned it's nuttin but bare g-strings and hold ups under them long muslim frocks...but ultimately there's a pu$$y

For the record anyone know any muslim babymothers, they always seem to be married....damn!!...it's like I'm going to have to convert and get me a muslim wife to find out what they really put on underneath those overalls!!niceone.gif
