To whom it may concern:

I’m seeking a book-film agent or agency for a manuscript that I have written. I have received great reviews and feedback from several sources about my work. I await your response to my request and search.

Respectfully,

ABSTRACT

The Western Civilization of Afrika deals with the direct descendant, of an African emperor, who was captured and transported to the Americas as a slave. On his journey to freedom he was educated via his relationship to a German-born plantation owner/ adopted father in the Province of Georgia; an English-born abolitionist in New York City; a French intellectual of revolutionary leanings in Montreal, Canada, and renowned institutions in Paris and London.
Afrika played a major role during the successions of the American Revolution, the French Revolution and the Haitian Revolution. He negotiated with and fought luminaries of the French Revolution/Napoleonic France. The lessons Afrika learned of the history and philosophy of his Western civilization education (nurture), and his African imperial lineage (nature) shaped his life and vision of a Greater Africa. For example, he believed the Haitian Revolution should be the springboard to an African empire similar to the French Revolution being the springboard to the Napoleonic French Empire with ambitions to rule the world. Afrika preferred a Greater Africa ruled by an emperor (e.g., a Napoleonic figure) than a republic ruled by a president (e.g., a Washingtonian figure). He admired the nationalistic and pre-socialist (the forerunner to socialism of today) ideals embraced by the French and other European liberals and radicals.
The Western Civilization of Afrika is a double entendre of Africa the land and Afrika the man - Afrika enslaved (yet educated) by Western civilization that taught him how to aspire to become a master of his environment by its philosophy and history.
