Barnet African Caribbean Association (BACA)
Our Aims:
To provide where possible and seek to develop the provision of activities, including social activities for people of African and Caribbean origin within the London Borough of Barnet.
To ensure that people of African and Caribbean origin obtain their full civil rights including equal opportunity in education, employment housing etc..
To encourage people of African and Caribbean culture to participate in various activities within the London Borough of Barnet and to encourage other organisations to accept such participation of people from these origins and cultures.
To secure funds for the furtherance of the aims of the organisation
About Us:
BACA was inaugurated in 1980. The BACA executive is responsible for policy development and ensuring the proper functioning of the organisation. As a result of a study carried out by the Health Advisory Service and a proposal submitted with the assistance of the Barnet Voluntary Service Council. Joint funding was obtained to enable a Day Care Facility to be set up.

Is for the elderly, stroke group and alzheimers sufferers:

Monday, Tuesday & Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm

BINGO and much more Fun, with CARIBBEAN MUSIC IN A CARIBBEAN ATMOSPHERE & FRESHLY COOKED CARIBBEAN MEALS
The environment is stimulating and exciting. A good place to meet new friends and reinforce old friendships.
On Day Care Centre days transport can be arranged.
