The Apprentice: Howard Ebison & Mona Lewis Become Embroiled In Homophobic Row

The Apprentice candidate Mona Lewis has become embroiled in a homophobic scandal during filming for the BBC TV show.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the row began when Sir Alan Sugar set a task for the teams to create a new image for the seaside town of Margate.

Howard Ebison suggested rebranding the location as a gay resort, but Lewis rejected the idea saying that she would not like her six-year-old son to meet a homosexual man.

An insider told the newspaper: “Howard did very well to keep his cool as he was extremely offended. He had to put up with a certain amount of homophobic abuse when he was growing up, so this really upset him.

“The group was stunned that someone as intelligent as Mona could have such old-fashioned views. Even though she was raised in a country with more traditional values, her comments were indefensible.”

Show producers are still said to be considering how much of the incident will air amid fears that it could offend viewers.

But why should a six year old be taught to accept something which wont benifit them.

A six year old should be running around playing and learning new things in life .
To make a six year old accept something like that , at such a young age will only confuse them even more .
And has not a mother or father the right to protect the child from outside INFLUENCE ?

The PROGRAMME has gone downhill the clients he chooses amaze me at times
im sure many of us know brothers and sisters who could and would make better apprentices in real life in many companies but are not given a fair chance .
and only adviced to go into SPORT , ENTERTAINMENT and HARD MANUAL WORK
when young .

Regardless of whether shes right or not, its was a pretty dumb move to make if she's serious about winning the show.

I have,nt watched this show but having just read the details ,i feel inclined to agree with the lady why would anybody want their young child subjected to or be forced to accept somebody elses alternative life style at a young age.I don,t think its old fashioned at all our values are being gradually eroded by having all this gay homo shite rammed down our throats by the ****ing white media.
