what are some of your favorite songs that had the absolute WORST videos....like bad to the point of making you not want to see it again.

Don't list the videos that you liked but look cheap/dated now....but vids that you saw for the first time and scratched your head.

The Roots "CLONES".....has to be one of my favorite records ever.....but silly and negative budget video keeps me from ever watching it again

I just found out that the video even existed a few months ago...and regret watching it.

another all time favorite song...video could have been so unique....but it was a standard era hod video for an above average song......disgustingly cheap looking...

First on the list:

Imagination: 'Illusion'

This has to be like the worst video ever, for one of the songs I love most. The dude has lipstick and eye shadow on, the fake 'running'... the worst...

Even back in '82 it looked jacked. I remember seeing it as a kid and being like wtf?


Also D'Angelo 'Brown Sugar'. More about him macking than anything.

"Ghetto Heaven" makes the list too.....


forgot how bad the vid was until I saw it again recently after putting it up in the Loose Ends thread...

I've seen wedding videos from the 1980s that had better production values than that one.

and while we're at it

"Murder she Wrote" by chaka demus and pliers....the ORIGINAL video...
