His lyrics on "It's your world" are nothing short of genius. He's one of the few MCs who can handle the subject matter of "go" with maturity.
The question is: is Common a top 10 MC of all time with this release?

Many peeps have hm @top 10 all time from long time ago, I dont know enough of the old school heads to say, in modern times he is top 5, I wont give my list cos I will get hounded out of here quicktime by DrunkMonkey and the crew.
Anyways, back to Common , he is hot MC!

I hear you, that subject can become quite contentious, with peoples biases and preferences involved.
My current top 5 MCs are:
1)Jay-Z(Simply the best)
2)Common(Legend in the making)
3)Beanie Sigel(What gangsta rap should be)
4)BlackThought(Getting better with time)
5)Ludacris(Can't deny his talent)
I wish I could put my namesake in there, but he has to get his act together after that piece of crap rock album he chose to release!:X

What can I say I just love Common and I am very biased towards him because his deep voice tones alone gets me goose pimples all over and the fact that he talks sense just pushes me over the edge.......we need more like him there is not much this man can do wrong as far as I am concerned love him just as much as Mos Def which is why I forgive Mos Def for that rocky album (although he better not make that mistake again).
