i saw this on another web site and this white person was asking why don't rappers put white girls in their videos?

the person argues that they have the bodies (yeah righ) and they can dance (i would love to see that)

so why don't rappers put white girls in their videos?



my response is easy: it's the same reason you don't see black girls in rock videos...

dat is hilarious. all the chick has to do is look at da videos to see the answer.

1) who would have the audacity to ask such a question?

2) all this idiot would have to do is watch any MTV channel that shows rap videos to see that, nfortunatly, white girls ARE infecting rap videos.

Thank God my increasing maturity means i have little to no interest in these types of videos these days. they are all the same anyway, with the exception of a few rappers.

They're in some of the videos, just not given any central roles. If you look in the background of some rap videos, especially in club/party scenes, you can see one or two passing by.

I don't see why this girl is complaining, this is more than rock videos have ever done. When was the last time yousaw a black woman or any other minority woman, in a rock video? If these people aren't willing to be more representative of the population, then they have nothing to complain about.

Also, the thought of black women in rock videos kind of makes me uneasy. When I saw this video from Shawn Desmond,(an Italian-Canadian wannabe R&B singer),that had a black girl, I didn't like it one bit. I don't even like it when Fat Joe has black women in his videos. I don't mean to be racist, but it just doesn't seem right.

Who cares if there aren't any white chick in rap videos. they may not be many white chick in rap video thank god.

But you can be quite sure that these six clock behind women are in everything else. Most white women have flat six clock asses, and they all can't dance that because that have no rhythm.

It quite funny that everything black people do white people want to be in it.

Cockney, everything must be taken into context. My comments were made in the context of white people owning/being in control of/dominating most things in society (whether you admit it or not). There is very little that Black people have domain over. Now while i disagree with the way hip hop videos objectify and demean women, at least they are, on some level, showcasing black women. (And yes, i knw most of these women are ligtskinned with the long weave and contacts!) My point is Black people have so little that when i white person 'pops up' in any Black dominated medium i consider it an infection. Like someone else said, when was the last time you saw a black girl in a rock video. I stand by and don't regret my comments. Its all about context.

conversly, my increasing maturity has also come with knowing just how uch racism is out there, and why it is important for Black people to work together to build foundations for ourselves. My views have nothing to do with the children i teach. If i thought it in any way would impede me in my proffession, i simply wouldn't teach. Point blank.
