Thursday July 7, 09:22 PM- In London, uninjured singer Omarion seeks prayers Click to enlarge photo NEW YORK (Reuters) - London was the scene of carnage on Thursday after a series of deadly blasts but American R&B crooner Omarion, who suffered no injury or inconvenience, wants people to pray for him.
"Omarion was in London during the tragic bombings that struck this morning," a statement by the singer's publicist AR PR Marketing, released hours after the bombings, said.
Making no mention of the fatalities or casualties of the blasts, the singer's statement concluded, "He would like his fans to pray that he has a safe trip and a safe return home. He appreciates your support."
He was in London for Saturday's Live 8 show, his publicist Shana Gilmore told Reuters from Los Angeles. Asked why anyone should pray for him, Gilmore said, "He wasn't hurt or anything, but just the fact that he was there and all that."
Omarion was the teenaged lead singer of the chart-topping band B2K before going solo. The 20-year-old's first solo album "O" debuted at No. 1 of Billboard charts earlier this year.

He is a popular singer right now of the new R&B generation. He's also a dancer and actor who was in "You Got Served".

prayers 4 him?!?!confused3blkfingerwag im sorry but the only prayers and support should be for the family and friends of those who perished in the attacks, n prayers 2 comfort and give courage 2 the entire emergency services who are the unsung hereos of yesterday.
But I bet you didn\'t know
You\'re my sugar honey iced tea, baby
You\'re just as sweet as can be
Your momma must be made of sugar
Your daddy makes honey
And that\'s what makes sense to me, oh!

I am not surprise he and his PR team came out with that daft remark, To me it shows the low level mindset of these self centered people.
This is the industrytheyouth and elder generation buy into and aspire to.
Fair enough let your fans know you are ok, but you know you are ok and not in any immediate danger and as you are in the safety of your hotel, there are people dead, body pieces lying around London, show some love, give some love, dontbeg for it.
Imagine that, 'pray for me', why not pray for some of your fans who have lost loved ones, why not pray for those trumatised, why not pray that the emergency service do the best they can to save lives.
Sometimes Artist must give back and stop showing the selfishness that shines in the entertainment industry.
Omario is in a multi billion pound industry, and at a time like this a simple statement expressing deep sympathy for people who have perished would do wonders for society.
These are the reason I support Music Piracy, because the industry bleeds and demoralise society and really needs to feel it where it hurts, and that is their pocket.
Life is good really, it's just how you view it.

These type of airheads and their minions shoud not be allowed to speak in public. This is extremely selfish because the boy and his minions know he was on no tube train and was definately never on a bus. He was probably sleeping in his 5* hotel after the after party when the bombs hit and went by people carrier at 2pm when he woke up to go the the record company or lunch.Dumbass, if I was his mother I'd box him across his face! For this idiots careers sake, I pray that he keeps his mouth shut next time a serious incident happens and sticks to being a being a no brain singer/dancer.

Someone slap him. He's not even worthy of being missed by the public and he's asking his fans to pray for him to have a safe journey. Fair enough but not even mentioning people who died...

These are the reason we need to boycott these people.
If you want PR exposure, even if you are an insensitive person, at least be clever enough to play the game, atleast politicians do it and they do it well.
Life is good really, it's just how you view it.

IH,
Thankfully, that Omarion wasn't victimized by those blasts, but I think that he maybe a little shaken up. Let's pray for all of those victims on the London bombings.

If they are his words or words from anyone in his camp then he is a TOSSER.
A SELF-CENTERED TOSSER, mad-moonie
If we don\'t teach them, then we are to blame....
