Black comedy? Or a comedy with black actors? (mind you, I'm pretty much up for black shows jacking the genre name)
Harlem Knights - Great choice - (fav scene:when Arsenio Hall thinks Quick has killed his brotherTommy andgoes after him, crying like a punk. haha.)
Comedy with black actors (theme):
1. Do the right thing.
2. Trading places.
3. Uptown saturday night.
4. Coming to America
5. House Party 1
Black comedy:
1. Magnolia
2. Being John Malkovich (spl)
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Cable guy.

"Uptown Saturday Night!" my favorite blaxploitation from the 70's. No one can forget the scene when those midgets come from beneath those sombreros on the gangsters heads, to shoot and kick Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby's ass!

Coming To America is untouchable
Eric La Salle was something else
'I guess wearing clothes is a new experience for you' talking about Eddie Murphy

If the Oscars were really legit Eddie should have won or at least been nominated for an Academy Award that year,I think he must have played like 8 different chatracters in "Coming".
Also the make-up artists should have gotten a special nod too.Especially for the sequence at the end.

I watched that movie in the states and again in the uk when it came over and till this day I have not witnessed any movie that has literally had people falling out of their seats laughingpeople had their drinks spilling out of their nose and nearly choking on their popcorn it is a classic.

Coming to America
Fave quotes
Landlord: "Hey Stu, your rent's due, mother_f_ucker Now don't be pulling that falling down the stairs sh_it on me again, you hear! Now you conscious! Every month, the same damn thang."
(After discovering that Akeem works a pathetic job at a hamburger joint.)
King Jaffe: My son WORKS?!
But I think the Trading Places inside joke was hilarious. I only just got it the last time i watched comign to america and I've seen it god knows how many times beforehand
Also the untouchable John maos talkign about how he is scamming mcdonalds
