I came across this film by mistake,I had heard so much about it before and assumed it was a metaphorical title,imagine my disappointment when I found out it was actually about some black woman who had been scorned by a man.

what the heck?!

why the reference to her being "black" and convieniently "mad",I was informed by an american friend that it was meant to be a "catchy title" ,I'm just not comfortable with the title,what do you think?

I watched this recently on pirate.. At first I thought 'mad' meant crazy but actually it means she is reallyticked off.. Yes she is scorned( Guess who he leaves her for)and the woman is treated so badly but you have to see how she comes through it, ending is a bit obvious but watch it any way...The title possibly could actually mean to be provocative, the film is at some points.
