I saw it monday and I thought they bottled what could have been a very good movie, for me the movie was 20-30 mins shorter than it should have been....They built it up and then made a huge leap in the middle in favour of this big fight that just didn't make any sense or follow any logic...

I mean come on 6 X men holding off a couple of hundred Mutants is just bollox..it not physically possible... Plus why didn't magnito ever call upon the one weapon Pheonix tom sweep the X men aside...nope sorry but this film had huge plot hole all the way throught it...

That battle scene was just explosions and chaos for the sake of it....which is a typical Brett Ratner trademark.

Miss Nellia..I've been a fan from time....however the mistake is that Director strayed away from the comic story line that made sense, in respect of making a rather obvious social comment.. He/she failed, because in the end the whole premise then fell apart....

Sorry I love the Xmen too..but this fim had big holes all the way throught it....Imagine Pheonix Kills Scott, but one one appears concerned where he is, she is brough back to the School medicalised, with Wolverine fawning all over her...Not a mention of where's Scott? Nope not working..

Then there is the obvious hole in the whole serium bit, the Goverment makes it then offers it out voluntarily as a cure...PLEASE..come on now.. Lets get this straight they spend Billion developing this vaccine and they GIVE IT AWAY?

Goodness Kunjufu, I take that back, you are a fan, I think the mistake people made was taking the phoenix storyline in the comics to the film, if that is the case there would be nothing any director could have done to condense that storyline into 2 hrs, I think killing Scott and Xavier added to the shock and excite of the film for me, but the special effect were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Did you see how they made Xavier and Magneto appear 20 years younger??? Brill.

I watched Fraiserbighairlol this morning Kelsey Grammer (BEAST)

and watching him even though he is a funny comedian i would have never thought that he would suit the role as BEAST

But i was proved wrong great casting. great voice .great sarcasum suited him to a tee.

I agree with most the points you made but I think most of the problems Brett had were out of his control. He was brought on board as director right at the last minute after Brian Singer walked/left to do Superman Returns and most of the story line and script had to be changed. Singer alsot

ook with him James Marsden who plays Cyclops, so that's a major character that's effectively written off. Had Marsden stayed on I think Cyclops would have lived and probably ended up killing Pheonix.

Mmmmm....
i saw x men 3 today....
blkthumbsdown if you are an average movie goer..

blkthumbsdownblkthumbsdownblkthumbsdownblkthumbsdo wnblkthumbsdownblkthumbsdownblkthumbsdownblkthumbs downblkthumbsdownblkthumbsdown
if you know anything about comics.... why oh why... do these directors.. INSISt on straying from the comic storyline... and embelishing.... why....? this x men movie was the wrost of the 3... I have seen.. absolutely terrible....

where do i start.... mmm ok i wont even start from a comic point of veiw...
ok an unwritten rule in movies are you dont kill of a major character... without ofsetting some dramatic developments... scott and professor x died... FOR?
what difference did it make to the movie...none... heck only wolverine asked for scot in the middle of trying to slam jean.... damn this movie sucked....
now comic flaws and no brainers
dm kunjufu and hakeem will understand where im coming from with these
...
ok juggernaut... nothing stops the jugernaut save mental attack NOTHING... if magneto got a hold of what should have been the real juggernaut he wouldnt need anyone else...

ok this is where the movie started to piss me off... wwhen magneto went into the house and told juggernaut no one get in then shit start poppin and wolverinne decides he's going in.

1.why did wolverine decide to run head on into a running juggernaut head on?
was it because he recognised that it was only vinnie jones in a dyam fool fool costume... must have been...

2. why did the director see it fit have juggernaut fighting a 14yr old gurl kitty insted of fighting big ol colossus? why is a strength guy like juggernaut what a waste of charcter

3. And for this scene soley do i despise the movie.. the scene where "juggernaut" was chasing kitty throuhg the walls then she uses the mutant kid who drains mutant powers to trick juggernaut into runnin into a wall like some kinda tom and jerry shit... for one juggernaut is not a mutant... not one bit.... juggernaut... is just a regular guy.. brother in law of charles xavier who found the caves of cytorakk and put on the crimson bands of cytorak turnin him into juggernaut... so his powers are purely magic...so that scene where they had him run into the wall double pisses me off...

xmen 3 is the WORST marvel movie... ever... in fact its the worst superhero movie... batman and robin from back in the day with adam west in dem batty bwoy shorts... is 10 times better... why? because it tried to stick as closly to the the comic.. as corny as those flicks were... there were a lot more authentic than x men 3

hakeem was right x men 3 is rubbish .. a dissapointment to say the least...
i went for this job interveiw... and if i dont get the job... and im feeling down.. i'll just go to the cinema and watch x men 3...again that will remind that life aint that bad ...
becase that movie was bad...

1 out of 10....
...

There can only be... one...

While I agree Lucas that X3 was a terrible film it is by NO means the worst. My friend you have had a memory lapse...

The debacle that was Hulk
The disgrace that was Daredevil
The insult that was Fantastic four

X3 was poor... but better than those stinkers!
