Lucas I never doubted Hulk could beat Gladiator. I don't think anybody can beat Hulk and I still don't accept that namor did.... annoys me. Gladiator can beat Juggernaut though.

Your point is irrelevant, yes Peter whines about everyone getting hurtbut with MJ it was a big thing. He did break dates and when she got mad at him he b**ched about it to himself FOREVER. I have no idea why you're denying it. The movie Spiderman was true to the comics. Only time Spiderman wasn't running down MJ was when his mind was on Blackcat for obvious reasons

You Comic Heads just kill me.

If you want the comic just read the comic.

When a comic hero is brought to life there will be some changes to the heros

you know & love.

I think we are all agreed Spiderman 2 is the flagship film.

But the average movie goer who has not been brought up on Mavel & DC comics will like X3. Its an entertaining movie.

If anything I thought X3 was tooo short i left me wanting more of the same please.

How anyone failed to get excited at the sight of Magneto picking up a car , screwing it up & dashing it like it was nothing is beyond me.

Yes there are flaws BUT to bring so many mutants togethers & fully use them with all there powers would require an amazing budget.

I think it was a fitting way to end the X films & a good way of introducing a lot of mutants so they can now start the spin off movies.

The most likely is a Wolverine movie from there you can bring in Bishop , the Sentinals &some of the mutants on show in X3.

Not the best Super Hero film but no where near the worse.

Tell you what though I heard a lot about Fantastic Four but again I found it entertaining&a lot of people agred with mewhich is why there making another one with the same director.

I found this review on the net & although we may differ on some points I do agree with what this person has to say

Add me to Vern's list of people who crapped on it, but will go see it three times and buy the dvd. No film, I've seen, (comic book/sci-fi wise) has ever garnered so many emotions. It started out decent, Marsden putting in a respectable scene. (I still wish we'd got Singers double shot of X3&4, dammit, this IS Scott and Jeans story.) When he gets to the lake, that sht is beautiful, I even had to hold back a tear when "dickhead" began to go bye-bye. Where the movie went south, is how everyone just forgets that he was missing. I was so put off by this, I barely could follow Xavier's explanation of the "Phoenix". Sure they reveal he's dead, but there's no reactions. If this movie needed some scenes, it's reactions of Scott and Chucks deaths. When Charles died, I wasn't as pissed, because it was (admittedly) pretty cool. I did let out a boo though. The only one in the whole theater, so that tells ya how popular he was. And the thing about him "coming back" after the credits, was really given away with that bit about the brain dead guy at Muir Island. (Oh yeah, whoever said, we get to see Muir Island in this film, is a retard. A hospital bed. OOOOOOH!!! Big deal.) I can live with that. It's obvious that a new actor will take over for Xavier in the New Mutants flick or whatever. And by using Stewart's voice was just to let you know who it was. After the deaths like I said before, there's next to no real grieving, just FKING ICE SKATING!!! (Kitty is a cutie though.) Some nice interactions between Bobby and Pyro over the course of the film, but after that Sparrowhawk debacle, I'm not a Ashmore fan. Still, it was nice seeing him ice up. Colossus probably got more of a shaft than Cyclops. Of course he's just eye candy in these flicks, but dang, one line. *sigh* ( IF THERE EVER IS A REBOOT X-MEN SERIES, PLEASE LET PETE HAVE A SIZEABLE ROLE IN IT, THE CHARACTER, AND THE TRAGEDIES HE WENT THROUGH ARE AMAZING. Just leave out the bit of him curing the Legacy Virus, that was kinda lame. Even lamer? Colossus II.) While the film might lack the human elements of X2, this is a pure popcorn flick. And a good one at that. Yes, this is coming from a old-school fan of the comics. Yes, this is coming from someone who crapped all over 24 for being...well...crap this season. And yes, this is coming from someone that has only enjoyed a handful of films over the last few years. I HAD A HELL OF A TIME WITH THIS THING. Yes, there was a few bad CG shots. Yes, there was some lame "wire-fu". Yes, day turned into night within a split second on the bridge. Yes, Angel mysteriously flew cross country in next to no time to save his dad. (He wasn't in the jet, as far as we know. So either he can fly faster than 150mph which it's been said he can do, or he was holding onto the Blackbird from the outside.) All of those are minor gripes. Oh yeah, the title score ****in blew compared to X2's. But, after getting over the non-reactions to the deaths of the most important two characters, I had a ball, the rest of the film was everything a X-men film should have been. (Well, given it's current state, it's poor mismanagement, the departure of Singer, and the *******ization of the Phoenix story.) Wait...did I just say...I got over it? OMG, OMFG, I'M TALKING LIKE YOU PEOPLE NOW!!! Did someone shoot me with a geek cure dart? *sigh* This film is not the disaster it has been made out to be. Nor is it a perfect comic movie. But it sure is ten times better than that gawd awful X1 and virtually every other MARVEL film outside of X2. This IS the crown jewel property of Marvel, not Spider-man. Hopefully the spin-offs, especially Magneto will be good, and *gasp* stick a little closer to the material. And one more thing, to all of you Ratner haters, who keep blaming him for this being "bad", it's not his fault, never was, and never will be. I'm not saying I like his previous work, and to be honest, the guy comes off as a prick sometimes, but he nailed this one. FKING NAILED IT! And to all of you Superman Returns/Singer haters, you guys can suck it, the new trailer before X3 WAS FKING AWESOME!!! Of course that doesn't mean the film will end up being good, but I got my hopes up for this one. Yeah, you heard me. MR.SMALLVILLE, is eagerly anticipating Superman Returns. In closing regarding X3, I can see where you may dislike it, I know, I was there, but if you just let go, it can be very extremely funny, action packed flick for X-fans. One day (hopefully) one of us fanboys will take the reigns of this property and do something extraordinary with it, or at least give it a Batman: Dead End treatment, but until then. THANK YOU ROTHMAN. (Thank you for not totally fing us over.) R.I.P. CYCLOPS *sniff*

Even though many of the lines were lame and corny and they killed off too many characters, I must say I liked the film. It was a bit emotional in the fact that characters everyone loves meet horrible deaths, but irritating in the fact that these characters did not meet their end in the actual war but died at the hands of the all- powerful-evil-nemisis Jean Grey.Thereare manyelements that didnt seem plausible to me,the first being the Pheniox character in the movies. The so called evil double personality of Jean Grey simply wasn't believable. Can someone tell me why she wasso angry? Please dont expect me to believe that she was going to annialate the entire earth simply because Proffesor X locked her powers when she was younger. Nah, sorry, if they weren't going to use the comicbook explaination then they could have come up with a better reason than that.

Another plot element that didnt come off as believable was pitting Clypso againstStorm. Storm can fly, shoot bolts of lighting, create a dozen tornadoes in the sky, and Clypso does what exactly?? Runs really fasts and senses other mutants powers. So your gonna tell me that for nearly half of the film this chick is kicking Storms a**? Clypso powers are no where near Storms league so pitting them against each other in a real fight was laughable. It always ironic how out of allthe mutants Storm seemsget whipped the most(atleast in the movies).

I was rather dissappointed with Rogue and Bobby. Considering Scott and the proffesor were dead leaving only sixX men to face Magneto and his army, she could have damn well made herself useful. But nooooo, she chooses to sit around and whine about not being able to get close to anyone while the rest of the gang is risking their lives. A bit selfish I might add but then again she was sort of like that in the cartoons from whatI remember. As for Bobby, I expecteda better display of his powers than that.

I also was a bitannoyed with captain-saves-the-day wolverine.I dont understand why they always place him at the centerof attention saving everyone's life. He saves Rogues life in the first movie, great, good now its someone elses turn. But herehe is againsaving the day by destroying the all-powerful-evil-nemesis Jean which is a bit ridiculous seeing that this woman annilated a man who can move entire cities with his mind. She was able to kill proffesor X yet by some miracle Wolverine manages to stab her with his claws?Get outta here. If Jean is such a powerful mutant and no one else is in her league, thenI thinkit would havebeen much more effectiveif she met her end by falling on her own sword, destroying herself with her own powers.

Depite all of that, some thingsI did like was howthey pitted Shadowcat against the Juggernaut, sort of like David and Goliath type scenario.I also liked how they counteracted Bobby's Powers with John's. And even though Magneto and Mystique were villians, one cant help but feel a bit sad when they loose their powers. Ina way they sort of died as well. Overall, the X men comic books and cartoons are so complex thatI think they should havespanned things out over a series of moviesinstead of trying to fiteverythinginto one nice little triology. It may have worked for Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, but it didnt work for X Men.

A few things Liberiangirl
The callisto v storm things is even worse considering in the comics Callisto has no super speed, nor can she sense other mutants. The fist skill is Quicksilvers and the second is Callibans. Callisto is the leader of the Morlocks and Storm once fought her hand to hand without her powers... and kicked Callisto's ass!

Rogue in the movies is terrible. Rogue has always had a dilemma over her powers but she is NEVER such a baby. Rogue kicks ass in the comics and especially the cartoons. Rogue is the strongest X-man by far and one of the first to fight. She is supposed to be sassy and confident and flirtatious... not introspective and miserable.

The Wolverine killing Jean thing is understandable. You have to understand she allowed him to do so because she wanted to die. Wolverine or anybody else would have never gotten that close unless Jean wanted him too. That happened in the cartoonand comics too. Jean's personality fighting the phoenix and allowing somebody to beat her.

I don't mind kitty fighting Juggernuat because Kitty is badass and they left her out long enough in the first two movies. What annoyed me is that they didn't have her in love with Collosus and they didn't have Collosus fighting Juggernaut. That's a real fight.
