I have a hard time beleiving that but my brother is a super comic book geek( 1000+) and he swears its garbage, using scenes from Mummy, Spawn and Alien

i been readin comics since i was 6...

my favourite comic book movie thats a hard question... because ive been reading comics so long... i expect certain thngs.. that a guy who doesnt read comics wouldnt expect (im sure drunk will agree with me here) ... because i know bettter.. well comic wise...

so i dont have a favourite so to speak.... but some are better than others...

spiderman is.... aight.... but very flawed... eg.. in comics maryjane is hottt model.... actress... kirsten dunst is how do u english people say... butters... in comics... peter parker..has hin hands full with financial worries.. bullies at school... his antagonistic boss.. etc... and in a waaay back distance girls im talkin the premarried peter anyway...
peter was actually kinda forced to date maryjane... by his aiunt who kept tryin to set him up on a blind date with her...
..
in the movie it seems its all bout.... butterz kirsten dunst....
which makes it soppy....(barf)

one thing about spiderman that i can appreciate though is that it stays true to the... chracters powers..



***hulk is good... as in the movie he exhibits the same powers he has in the comics... and mannerisms

only night crawler...and sabretooth stays somewhat true to their comic alteregos...also why is sabretooth an underling for magneto...????

Yeah lucas you're right about the x-men films making the worse choice of actors for the characters. Halle Berry damn sure ain't no Storm (Nona Gaye or Angela Bassett are better choices) cos she's just some mixed chick with a horrible wig that looks like she came straight out of a mardi gras festival and thedude that plays Magneto don't even have that many years left on the planet as it is.

Spiderman movies and Batman begins(the best, well the ONLY good Batman movie) pass. X Men sucks, Fantastic 4 was okay, alot of room for improvement.

How did the concept of Spiderman start? Does anyone think it may havederived from the Africanstories of Spider/Ananci, like how the Matrix story was stolen from the black female author who wrote the script. Because Peter is more of a thinker and used wits also like Spider/Ananci did. His powers are not always the main focus like superman or xmen(accept for professor X).
