Seriously, this film goes back to the days of Rambo and any other extremely ludicrous cheesefests thatpeople are supposed to take seriously.

The psychotic villainarmed chases a young couple in a car while they're being pursued by 5 police cars and a helicopteryet he manages to take out all the cops (including the ones in a helicopter) with just one pistol!!

Also throughout the film some of the most unbelievably stupid situations occur i.e. the villain manages to murder off an entire police station armed with just a knifejust to pursuethe poor couple for no reason at all!! Don't even get me started on the way the boyfriend gets killed!!

An episode of Itchy and Scratchy is more realistic than this foolishness but I won't lie it had us in stitches.

I could understand if it was a spoof of action thrillers but it's meant to be serious! Believe me, it's worth going to the cinema to watch or even buying on DVD just to laugh at the sheer lunacy of it all.

I only heard this film was a remake the other day! I wasn't expecting a classic by any means but I thought it was going to be a decent crime shocker! What I got was something so incredibly silly it was actually first class entertainment. I'd still recommend it to anyone just as long as they leave their brain at home lol.

Trust me, if you want to see a film that will make you laugh until it hurts - you can't do better than Battlefield Earth.

I was in tears of laughter for hours.

.lol.

The pic of that film is just wrong. What actor would seriously walk around in that without laughing every two seconds.

Cheese fest film = Alien Vs Predator. Not much beats that.

Black Lion is... Agu Bu Oji in Igbo, Simba nyeusi in Swahili, the name of a hospital in Addis Adaba the capital of Ethiopia.

I just have to say, am I the only one who finds the idea that the gas the aliens breath can be so easily ignited by a Nuclear bomb a little hard to swallow?

Now, for a warmongering species, that's a pretty huge Achilles heel. Any of their enemies could have sent just one bomb onto their planet and that would be that. Plus, how did their culture ever manage to figure out space travel if they never even made it passed atomic energy studies? Without uranium, this isn't nearly as feasible.

This is one of those films where you have to remind yourself it's just that - a film.

I saw the Hitcher remake on t.v. this year. I saw the original about three years ago in 2005. The remake was kind of sad how that family along with their son was murdered by that damn psycho.
