Babylon
Burning an Illusion
Pressure

Has anyone seen any of these films? What did you think of them? Burning an Illusion is my personal favourite.

Saw Babylon the other day it was good film. The content of the films produced back in the day seem much better than today. The end of babylon , where he is on the mike at the dance chanting 'we can' take no more of dat', was deep on so many levels. People need to watch these kind of films that we lack in 'Black Britain' today.

Burning an illusion was okay but the vague ending left me dissatisfied.

@Amin

Babylon is as deep and raw as it gets! That part with the two racist man on the balcony and the racist attack by the two cops still gets me every time.

@TW

I agree with you about the ending, it's like Menelik ran out of ideas at the last minute lol.

Yeah that kind of racism reminds you of what it is really to like to live in the UK, I think people forget about those things. That guy in the film Beefy, was one funny character the way people would boy him but when something was really going down he wasn't having anything!
