This movie is getting rave reviews in the U.S with Tyrese playing a starring role. The movie has touched me because I was a big fan in my youth, I actually had one of the porches I can't remember what they were called though.

Well they had previews for critics and the whatnots yesterday and i have to say it was rubbish! The target audience for this movie is GROWN MEN WHO STILL HAVE AN 8 YEAR OLD BOY INSIDE THEM! so if you wanna bring out your childhood then thats fine. And thats what i sawyesterday . A lot of them were a bunch of men who love big, loud car fantasies...and i am sure we have a lot of them here in BNVILLAGE...they might not be visible but they know who they are.

Anyway don't waste your money and also wait fro it it on DVD! actually The Woody Allen Transformers was better. remember when Bumblebee just keep getting worked up about changing into a VW Beetle and what that said about him as a person while his friends all turned into Contachs and Porsche 911s. For this one I'd say acting looked light-weight and cheesy, even for this sort of film.I mean Tyrese GIbson...give me a break!

Ohhhh expect shit load of racism as well..remember that spanish speaking dude in PRISON BREAKT? his fellow soldiers kept telling him to speak ENglish...that was stupid and racist in my opinion....Bennie Mack was just a clown....same applies to the other computer geek ....black FAT dude

Ohhh that kid (Shia LeBoeuf) I think was really cool and i believe that this Jewish boy is on the verge of being an enormous star, he's reminds me of the young Downey Jr and ohh well he is on the cover of this months VANITY FAIR magazine, (for those who read it)

As i said before you have a girlfriend who loved cars as a kid, and if you still have your 8 year old boy brain then this is a pure 8 year old enjoyment level go for it.

Am I to take it that you went to see a movie involving giant transforming alien robots and were upset because it was childish?

Are you stupid?

That was easily the film of the year so far... easily. I'm gonna watch that ish again!

Wouldn't say film of the year, it was a bit childish was only good for the sheer graphics in that street war otherwise it didn't really cut it. On some interglactic battle and hiding from some boys parents. They should bring out an 18 version of all the old comics and cartoons alongside the kiddie version.

That black robot act was just... I don't know, I mean... why?

i saw it yesterday, i'm a young woman (23) and i watched it with fondness. My older brother had transformer toys and we used to play with them when we were younger.

I wasnt sure what to expect but it was fun, the graphics were good, it was comical. i dont think it was aimed too much at kids as they were a few expletives and some suggestive themes (i.e. the bedroom scene). but overall good fun.

the whole thing about the cars coming to life was exciting, i felt like a kid again and that's what i enjoyed about it, you couldnt take it too seriously but if you remember the toys and the cartoon the film was made really well.

i will definetly be seeing it again.

Everyone take your kids to see the movie. The movie is a movie with transformers in it, not all about the transformers.

This is where I think that a lot of people got angry at the movie. They thought that it would be 2 1/2 hours of transforming robots.

I grew up on the first transformers and I would not have wanted to see 2 hours of fighting robots without a plot. Even my wife liked this movie and she is not a big fan of action movies.

The movie if anything is an action comedy with some transforming robots in it.

Hold on player..... Bernie Mack was an American used car dealer. He played that part perfect. Anyone can tell you of their experience of going to a second tier used car dealership here and running into characters like that.

And when did fat black people get stereotyped as computer geeks with an IQs so high that the one of the geniuses of the US military had to go to him for help?

I'm confused

I've made three attempts to see this film and each time something came up and I had to cancel.... this must be a sign to save my eye sight, especially from reading some of the above posts.

Good i really want to see this film, but i heard they over hype the girl a lil, but the graffics look good and my Tyrese is in it...so more reason to go!

As far as I'm concerned, any chance this film had of being good, was murdered the minute Michael Bay was asked to film it. I mean Michael Bay.... the man responsible for Pearl Harbour.... what more can I say?

I'm expecting this film to be trash - nothing more than a 90 minute MTV video, heavily saturated with adverts for General Motors. I'd feel like I was disrespecting myself, if I were to hand over my money for that.

What a shame - I was such a fan as a child. Transformers really captured my imagination in a way that only The Terminator has since.

Hiring an unspeakable MORON like Michael Bay has wasted a fantastic opportunity.

2nd best movie of the year after 300(in terms of action movies)
what spoilt it for me was the talking robots. unrealistic. with human like mouths. they shouldnt have showed thier mouths moving. dosnt come close to 300 though. 7 out of ten. i give transformaters.
though quite funny- i laughed alott.

i withdraw that statement maybe 3rd movie of the year

, bourne ultimatum is here what was i thinking. thats gonna be film of the year, all 2 were smoking.
