What can I say, Matt Damon is on fire at the moment. He's recently been in Syriana (I've seen it, excellent film) and Robert De Niro's The Good Shepherd. He's also been in Martin Scorsese's The Departed (a friggin' awesome film - Scorsese's best since Goodfellas) and now the Bourne Ultimatum. He's quickly becoming one of my favourite actors.
I've never before seen an actor make so many good films, in such a short period of time.
I heard somewhere that Damon is now the best value-for-money actor of his entire generation... and all before the age of 37!
He serves as an example that you don't need to be good looking to make the big time. Just look at Ben Affleck and Cuba Gooding Jnr - both are better looking than Damon yet both have disappeared after making endless trash.
Choosing only good scripts and making consistently solid films has really paid off.
