Grammy Award winning filmmaker, celebrated DJ and British black icon, Don Letts assimilated aspects of Jamaican culture into inner-city London life, forging a
link between two clashing cultures.
Don Letts witnessed the birth of punk first-hand. As a DJ he pumped roots-reggae to an audience which included members of the Sex Pistols, while also launching a film career which resulted in over 300 music videos and documentaries.
Don Letts’s story is both fascinating and unique.
