Life is hard and people go the movies to be entertained.

I love Black dramas..but I don't think the Hollywood studio system is the right vehicle for them...

Some of my favorite films are box office failures......because the mass audience never cught on to them.

I guess this film didn't have "good" white character in it, like in Amistad that the mass white audience can relate to.

I think with our history of oral tradition and the emphasis most of our cultures place on oratory/speaking skills that debate team film would do well.......

We'd rather be entertained than learn a history lesson.
