Wow...I saw that movie last night on DVD and it is truly a good movie. It had all the elements of a great movie. The satire was genius, but not too much to take away from the serious nature of marriages in crisis. It touched on many real issues prevalent in marriages. If you are tender-hearted, you may even make you want to cry a bit...LOL.

The role played by Jill Scott having a husband who terribly mistreated her because of her weight was truly sad to me. At the same time, I know that there are men who will tear their women down if they gain weight instead of helping them get back to something healthy and/or desirable.

The character Tyler Perry played and the issues with his screen wife I have occasionally had with the present woman in my life. I think I may have come across at least briefly all of the wife personalities in the movie and thought all the roles were played excellently.

Anyhow, what did you guys think of Tyler Perry's movie, Why Did I Get Married?

If we were real citizens, then there would be no need for "Civil Rights". There are already enough laws on the law books to protect the rights of real citizens.
