Default Satellite Splitters for SKY + - 15-12-08, 11:23 AM

Hello All,

Hoping someone could give me some advice about my Sky + Box.
I live in a flat that shares a communal dish with the other tenants in the building. As I only have one input from the dish (installed when the block was built), I can only get one signal. I can only record one thing at a time and I have to watch that channel, which of course defeats the purpose of the sky+ box. If I'm recording a program on BBC1 and turn the TV over to BBC2...I get the error message...."No satellite signal is being recieved"

I was advised to buy a satellite splitter ??????
Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so what did you do to resolve it?

Help me please.....
peace x NyNy9
