Greetings Techies ,
Sometimes, when I am in the main Black Forum menu I can see the whole screen, thengo into a forum and the screen is so wide that I have to scroll left and right as well as up and down.
How come?
Is there something I need to or could change at my end or is a techie thingconfused3

Question....What resoultion are you running at? (Right click desktop-> properties->settings)
I had to drop down to 640x480 to get horizontal scroll bars.

Hey Nick,
So you had the same problem? I have 1024 by 768 at the moment. It seems to be fine now, but I will try and do what you did then test and see if that sorts it out.

No sorry, I run at 1280x960, but to get scroll bars to appear, I had to lower it down to 640x480.
But if you say its working fine now, it might have just been a minor bug that has gone now. In which case utilize the old proverb. If its not broken, don't fix it.

1. Open up the forum to a page where you are having this problem
2. Press "Print Screen" button.
3. Open up paint and paste the image and save as a JPG
4. Attach the picture in the post
I can then have a look at what might be causing the problem

The widening sometimes occurs when people post images that are very large or hyperlinks that are very long. Notify one of the mods when you notice this and they can fix it for you.

@Nick/All: OK reading back what I said it's not clear. It's not horizontal bars I want it's horizontal bars I want to get rid of.
E.g. viewing the screen I have now, I can see all that's been saidfrom avatar to the mailing list boxes. When I go into other threads I am having to scroll left and right to see the whole message. So I'm scrolling back and forth rather than up and down as is standard:?.I don't just get it here either. On other web pages the same happens .
