Well?
Is it a faultspecific to Blacknet? Or just one of those glicks on the internet? Or is it to do with the sites I attempt to lift from?

Hey Taliba,
Try:
- copying the text you want to paste
- past that text into notepad
- cut the text from notepad
- then you should be able to paste the text straight into your message
I know it's a bit long but that works forme when I get that problem.
Hope that helps

There are those who feel that the only way to ‘prove their own worth’ is by ‘devaluing the worth of others’. You will often find that a man who is compelled to measure his substance against the substance of another, has little of substance in the first place!

@Maat
Thank you
But it is still annoying that you have to go 'round the houses' partiularly when it doesn't always happen.
@Oblas
Only recently started avoiding Internet Explorer, this as been happening from time. confused3

Ok, I have another problem posting on Blacknet.
Recently when I haveclicked on the link to the village, from my favourites,only part of the page as down loaded-That is the Blacknet logo at the top, the mailing list thing to the right and who is on line at the bottom.
I've tried all kinds of ways to open a page, including clicking on the 'new members' link and going in through their profile...this only works if they've actually posted something and even then it doesn't always work.
I have tried going back to the main site page and getting in through the village link on the left...this worked the first few times, but not at all recently.
Now this as happened a few times in the past, but since my recent return to the site it is happening more frequently.
And then when I do finally manage to get the full page I am signed out and no matter how much I try I cannot sign back in...I usually get the password not recognised blurb. And yes I have tried clicking forgotten password but even after being set a new one I can't always get back.
Infact this time I have actually had to use a different name and email address, and this is not the first time I've had to do this...remember went from Tahliba to Tahlibabiko, back to Tahliba...now it's Biko....I am running out of names.
So what I want to know is, is it BN or my pc? And yes itdoes happen with other sites, but not as often as Blacknet

What browser are you using, what type of firewall do you have, do you know if your machine is using XP service pack 2, you may need to delete your temp file (cache)
No major changes have been made to the Village at the mo that would cause problems to arise.
Hopefully we can resolve you situation
