basically i used to be with virgin and i had virgin logo, then i switched to bt, then i was switching to freeserve but chnaged my mind. freeserve logo is stuck in my IE setting. you know the part that spins when a page is being opened. i have deleted what freeserve junk i could find but i wish i could get rid of it. i am on ntl broadband now and well i dont want freeserve wanadoo junk on my browser

any suggestions

Try pasting that into the run box (start menu->run) and then running it.....

"rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear"

i did it and my spyware gaurd went mad. not sure what happened but i said keep new. i just closed a page a re-opened a new window and now microsofts flag shows instead of freeserve/

nick i knew you would be the one with the answers. thank youblktypeblk3hug2mmwa

i have been trying for ages to figure that out. bwoy me need fe learn sitting more bout di yer pc. do you work in IT or do you just know your stuff

Thanks no problem.

I do work in IT, but I have always had a great interest since I was really young. But believe me, the real strength is not in knowing everything, but not fearing the technology. I find that the users I support at work, see something they don't understand and just lose all common sense, but if they spent 5 minutes and think about the problem a solution is not far away on google.
