I have been using this tool for a while and was wondering if anyone else is using it.
Anyone with an internet connection and a mic can have a real time conversation of the internet and the sound quality is very good even on a modem.

I have spoken to my family on Atlanta and in Sierra Leone and the sound quality is most excellent.

Voice over IP has existed for a long time since the late 90s but it has always suffered from a long delay when speaking to people in different countries, Skype has a very sophisticated packet routing system which reduces the latency on the call giving better quality.

The system supports conferences calls of 4 people and I have spoken to my family in Atlanta Georgia, Ireland while I am in Brixton.

Anyone who makes regular call to abroad and also have an internet connection this is an essential item and is one of the fastest downloaded programs on the internet this year (6245) because it is FREE.

It also supports calling Land Lines but there are fee involved which are comparable with buying a phone card.

I think it is the best thing since telephones. I have to make a lot of business calls to the US form the UK and it costs 1.5p per minute. Also to my friend that lives in 'Dam, it is free cos he is a user as well.....It is the bollocks.

Our whole company uses it. When it comes to international calls it simply makes sense and I see our client using it more and more, its big and is getting bigger.
